VINTAGE BEDCOVERTHE  STORY  BEHIND  COMMING  

FROM  THE  FACTORY

Saree,  is  a  traditional  wearing  for  Indian  ladies.  Indian  ladies  are  wearing  Saree  since  centuries.  Every  part  of  India  has  some  special  variety  of  sarees  which  are  known  by  different  varities  /  different  names.  Although  India  has  advance  weaving  machines  these  days  but  still  there  are  many  pockets  where  Sarees  

are  made  on  Handlooms.

The  Sarees,  used  to  make  this  Bedcover  are  also  made  on  Handlooms.  The  main  Riber  used  to  make  these  Sarees  is  Silk  and  cotton.  After  the  ladies  wear  these  Sarees  for  a  few    years,  they  resell  these  

Sarees.

After  joining  /  stitching  different  patches  as  a  Bedcover,  this  is  sent  again  to  villages  where  the  ladies  do  the  hand  stitching  to  make  this  beautiful  

Bedcover.  Normally  the  ladies  in  villages  are  free  in  the  afternoon  after  

completing  their  home  making.    So  by  doing  this  job  they  use  their  free  hours  and  earn  some  money  as  well.  It  takes  them  a  couple  of  weeks  to  make  this  

Bedcover.

THE  STORY  BEHINDMade  out  of  wood  from  old  houses,  panel,  doors  and  windows.  Our  letters  and  numbers  are  all  handmade  on  a  Jig  Saw  Cutter.  All  wood,  natural  or  colored  are  washed  and  sanded  before  being  made  into  

letters  and  numbers.  Every  product  from  us  have  a  second  life  and  are  made  by  hand

with  respect  for  the  environment  and  the  Indian  culture

5  -­‐When  arrived  in  Denmark  we  will  send  it  to  you  as  soon  as  Customs  has  released  the  goods

4  -­‐From  India  the  products  will  take  around  30  to  35  

days,  by  ship.

 6  -­‐Remember  all  small  products  are  in  stock  at  our  Danish  

warehouse,  and  can  be  delivered  within  2-­‐3  days  in  Denmark  and  4-­‐5  days  in  Europe.

 and  add  it  to  your  shopping  basket.

Once  per  month  you  will  receive  a  stock  list  from  us.  

Here  you  can  see  the  products  that  are  ready  for  delivery  within  a  couple  of  days  from  our  Danish  Warehouses

this  will  be  small  products  only  for  packet  transportation

And  a  list

 for  what  is  in  Stock  in  our  Indian  Warehouse,  this  will  be  larger  products  for  pallet  transport  

Should  you  have  special  requests  we  will  Sind  a  solution  together  and  provide  you  with  a  price  and  delivery  time.
