Note: In Luganda, a native dialect of Uganda, a vowel sound is often added to
the end of words that normally end in a consonant. The Abayudaya have
adopted this speech pattern in their pronunciation of modern Hebrew. This
song reflects that melding of two cultures, two languages interacting with each
other to reveal one universal message—that the strength of God and the Jewish
people will live on

Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Service

Temple Beth Abraham will be hosting this year’s
Interfaith Thanksgiving Service.
Please join our community service and bring a donation of canned fish
(tuna or sardines), oatmeal, milk (shelf-stable), oil, peanut butter,
cereal (no or low-sugar), beans (bags, not cans) for the local food pantry.

by 30 Westchester Rabbis, and a third bonus session for the community
