Maybe when I lie awake,I'll think so hard the earth will shake.The walls will crumble, crashing down,My little life they'll surely take.My restless mind can never sleep,Its unending buzz could make me weep.It has its power over me,But it is mine to use and keep.I wonder if it's limitless,Or if my mind is just a mess.A great unknown power from within?I wish not to think it less.It likes to dive into a book,To learn, invent-- just take a look!Can one's mind have a mind of its own?Or should mine retreat back to its nook?
