Basic  Course  in  December  2013    Good  par7cipa7on  of  professionals  from  all  

over  Brazil  

In  last  December  we  held  our  basic  introductory  course  in  radia5on  curing  technology  at  our  headquarters  at  IPEN  -­‐  USP  in  São  Paulo,  and  rely  on  the  par5cipa5on  of  several  professionals  from  various  regions  of  Brazil  like  Santa  Catarina,  Rio  Grande  do  Norte  ,  São  Paulo  State  and  Capital.  In  addi5on  to  the  technical  sessions  we  also  had  the  opportunity  to  prac5ce  in  some  trials  at  UV  Cure  Laboratory  from  IPEN  -­‐  USP.      As  a  result  of  this  course  we  had  an  evalua5on  done  by  par5cipants  as  EXCELLENT  for  more  than  90%  of  the  total  in  addi5on  we  got  an  opinion  of  what  the  professionals  want  to  see  in  the  upcoming  events  at  RadTech  South  America  in  2014.

Strategy  and  Planning  Mee7ng  2014  The  Board  of  RadTech  was  gathered  in  January  to  discuss  the  main  goals  of  2014  and  plan  ac5vi5es.      We  define  two  basic  courses  for  the  year  2014  and  the  first  will  be  in  April  and  the  second  in  November.      Besides  these  we  are  working  to  make  two  more  seminars  or  specific  courses  in  UV  LED  and  Graphic  Arts,  the  dates  have  not  been  set  but  will  have  one  in  the  first  half  and  another  in  the  second  half  of  2014.  

Partnership  with  SENAI  

We  will  be  holding  a  mee5ng  with  SENAI  in  São  Paulo  to  evaluate  a  possible  partnership  for  courses  and  seminars  in  the  field  of  Graphic  Arts  at  first  but  can  be  expanded  to  other  topics  and  subjects.  SENAI  is  a  respec^ul  and  top  rated  technical  school  a_ached  to  the  industries  and  we  certainly  have  a  lot  of  synergy  in  this  partnership.  Once  done  we  will  be  providing  to  our  members  even  more  resources  and  technological  support.  

UV  Market  Research  in  Brazil  

S5ll  begining  in  February  a  new  survey  of  UV  market  in  Brazil.      Main  objec5ve  is  to  offer  our  members  a  clear  poten5al  of  our  ��radia5on  curing  area  and  market  vision.
