Passionate about growing businesses….  You’ve got your own business. You’ve got great ideas about where you want to take it next. Maybe you don’t have enough hours in the day or all the skills you need to make those next steps happen in quite the way you’d like. You’d love to have someone beside you who understands your vision and can help you drive the business forward.  You know that in larger companies they have senior managers who make the vision happen leaving the owners free to do what they do best. You probably think that sort of support isn’t available to small and medium sized companies. It often isn’t. There is plenty of specific help available in IT or accounting or marketing or HR. It’s rare to find someone who will understand the business as you do; someone who sees the wider view across the whole business. Someone who can help you make choices about what’s important right now. Someone who can help make sure the right things happen. 

 

At bright blue skies we do just that. We help the owners of small and medium sized businesses realise their vision. We help them make the right choices about what to do next and then help make sure those things happen. We free up your time to allow you to do the things you do best and take your business to where you want it to be. 

We work with businesses in one of three ways; but first of all we always undertake an initial review of your business with you. This means we can be clear about the key areas where you need help and also the best way to work with you to achieve your goals. We don’t have template solutions; we work out a program that makes the best sense for you and your business. Our approach is all about helping you run your business more effectively. 

Do We can be an extra pair of hands to get a project moving or keep day‐to‐day matters on track. By doing the majority of the work for you we free up your time, taking a weight off your shoulders. Of course we report back to you regularly on progress. You remain in control of any choices to be made but we make sure things happen in the way you need them to. We do the doing. 

Coach We’re a sounding board for your ideas providing you with an outside view on projects or day‐to‐day matters. We work with you and your staff to help you make the right choices. We show you how to manage your business more effectively and help you acquire new skills where needed. We’re a helping hand to guide you but you and your team still do most of the doing. 

Blend This is a mix and match approach. You need some coaching but you need some hands on doing. Between us we work out the right blend of both so that you learn new skills through coaching and we free up your time by taking on some tasks or projects for you. As always you retain overall control of the decisions but we blend coaching and doing to give the right result for you.

We are a small team of senior managers who are passionate about helping small and medium size businesses achieve their goals. 

Our key expertise is in understanding business owners’ vision and making it happen. We’ve worked across a wide range of businesses from lawyers to art galleries and fashion designers. The businesses we work with range from new start‐ups to established organisations of 200 people and £20m turnover. It’s not about how big you are but about helping you achieve your vision in a way that’s right for you.
