Divine Mercy Chaplet Divine Mercy Sunday will be celebrated on April 27, which will also be the date of the canonization of Blessed John XXIII and Blessed John Paul II. It was John Paul II who, in 2002, implemented this new feast in the Church’s calendar. The whole purpose of Divine Mercy Sunday is to stir in our hearts gratitude for the Fathers merciful love, and a desire to manifest the mercy of Jesus to others, by the power of His Spirit working in us.

Please visit http://www.divinemercysunday.com/plenary_indulgence.htm for more information about the plenary indulgence that can be gained on the Feast of Divine Mercy.

Held on Tuesdays at Our Lady of the Gulf, beginning May 6 after 8:00 AM Mass, this study makes reading the Bible not only easy, but even exciting. Come learn the major people, places, events and themes of the Bible—getting the “big picture” of salvation history. To learn more, call the office, or email [email protected]

PUBLIC KICK OFF FOR CAMPAIGN A HUGE SUCCESS! Sunday, March 30th kicked off the Public Phase of the Capital Campaign to build our new Catholic high school in Baldwin County with close to 500 people in attendance. Wet field conditions forced Campaign leaders to move the kick-off from the site of the new school on Dick Higbee Road to Christ the King Parish, and they served as wonderful hosts for the afternoon.
