Calculo de subredes mediante VLSM

Cálculo de cantidad de direcciones ip

Para que nuestro cálculo sea lo mas simple que se pueda, en primer lugar ordenamos en una tabla de mayor a menor las entidades según el número de hosts que requieren.

De la siguiente topología de red y la dirección IP 172.16.0.0/16 vamos a calcular mediante vlsm las subredes y el direccionamiento ip tomando en cuenta las consideraciones o requerimientos de direcciones IP de la tabla 1.

En la tabla anterior podemos observar la información acerca de los requerimientos de direccionamiento ip de cada entidad. La columna de hosts requeridos totales hace referencia al número total de hosts que necesita cada entidad y es la sumatoria de las direcciones ip para hosts que solicita la entidad, más el ámbito de red, más la dirección de broadcast, más la dirección Ethernet para el router que conecta a la red con internet. La columna de hosts asignables hace referencia a la cantidad de direcciones ip en las cuales encaja el número de direcciones ip pedido por las diferentes entidades, basado en la Tabla 2.

En la Tabla 1 especificamos también las direcciones que se necesitarán por cada enlace serial de nuestro diseño de red y obtenemos el número total de direcciones que necesitamos.

Cálculo de subredes mediante VLSM

Tomando en cuenta que en el ámbito de red 172.16.0.0/16 tenemos un total de 65536 direcciones ip ya que 2^16=65536, podemos decir que el total de los hosts que obtuvimos en la Tabla 1 que es de 51288 encaja perfectamente.

Con lo señalado anteriormente procedemos a calcular las subredes por VLSM:

Tenemos:

- 172.16.0.0/16o IP clase B

o 65536 direcciones

- 51288 hosts que debemos asignar

- 10 entidades que necesitan conectarse

- 22 enlaces WAN

Procedimiento:

1. Por cada entidad u organización iniciamos con una subred con direcciones ip para el ámbito y para el broadcast, también con la máscara de subred, o en el caso de que estemos calculando las primeras subredes tendremos algo asi:

2. Para cada entidad que vayamos a asignar segmentos de la red calcularemos el número de bits que se debe pedir según la tabla 2. Tomamos la máscara de subred de el segmento de red que tenemos disponible para asignar:

3.a. Ya con la máscara en binario, vamos a la Tabla 2 y vemos cuantos bits “0”

necesitamos para obtener 16384 direcciones ip. b. Procedemos a calcular las direcciones ip de los segmentos resultantes:

i. Para obtener el rango entre subredes restamos de 256 (2^8 que es el valor total del octeto más 1 ya que tomamos en cuenta también los extremos (2^8+1)) el valor correspondiente en binario de la máscara de subred del segmento en el que vamos a encajar la subred actual.

ii. Con esto se nos hace más fácil calcular los ámbitos de las subredes así como sus respectivas direcciones de broadcast.

Éste procedimiento se repite en la asignación de todas las subredes.

Cálculo:

Tomando en cuenta que en la dirección de red 172.16.0.0/16 (en la cual al ser de clase B y al tener la máscara de subred completa, tenemos un total de 65536 direcciones de red), debemos asignar un total de 10 redes empresariales, más 22 enlaces WAN que suman un total de 51288 direcciones de red, empezamos a asignar segmentos de red a las organizaciones empezando a asignar a los que necesitan mayor número de direcciones ip:

- Empezamos tomando a la red de “Gobierno Nacional” ya que es la red que más direcciones necesita.

o Esta red necesita 16384 direcciones de red y 16384= ¼ 65536 (también

pudimos habernos basado en la tabla 2), por lo tanto empezamos pidiendo dos bits al host:

o Pasamos la nueva máscara de subred a decimal

255.255.192.0o Calculamos el rango entre subredes

256 - 192 = 64o De lo anterior obtenemos los ámbitos de red así como la dirección de

broadcast (restamos a la siguiente subred 1) y los rangos de direcciones (valores entre el ámbito de red y la dirección de broadcast), asignamos la red de “Gobierno Nacional” y etiquetamos a las redes restantes como A, B y C:

- Contamos ahora con tres segmentos disponibles, los cuales, cada uno, tiene un total de 16384 direcciones de red.

o Tenemos las redes “Banco del Pichincha” y “Universidad” las cuales

necesitan 8192 direcciones de red cada una.o Por lo tanto según la Tabla 2 necesitaremos de un total de 19 bits del lado de

red, para lo cual a la máscara de subred de la Red A pedimos un bit más:

o Pasamos la nueva máscara de subred a decimal

o Miramos en la tabla 2, y tenemos que para asignar un total de 4096

direcciones debemos tener una máscara de subred /20:

o Miramos en la tabla 2, y tenemos que para asignar un total de 4096

direcciones debemos tener una máscara de subred /22:

la escogeremos para asignar nuestros enlaces WAN.

para interfaces del router, una para el ámbito de red y la última para la dirección de broadcast)

o Miramos en la tabla 2, y tenemos que para asignar un total de 4 direcciones

debemos tener una máscara de subred /30:

No mostramos la gráfica total de como quedarían las subredes por obvias razones pero así quedarían asignadas las subredes a las entidades.

Enrutamiento de las subredesPara comunicar las diferentes entidades u organizaciones utilizaremos los protocolos de enrutamiento RIPV2 y EIGRP. Antes de proceder a detallar la configuración de estos dos protocolos, detallaremos el estado de los routers.

Tenemos ya las especificaciones de conexión de los routers, luego procedemos a asignar direcciones ip a las interfaces de los distintos dispositivos, especialmente a los routers.

Enrutamiento a través de RipV2Ahora vamos a comunicar las subredes mediante el protocolo de enrutamiento RIPV2. A continuación se detallará el proceso de configuración de este protocolo para enrutar las subredes calculadas anteriormente.

o Este comando muestra un resumen de la información del protocolo de enrutamiento

configurado. Es útil para verificar rápidamente la forma en que los protocolos de enrutamiento se encuentran configurados. Se utiliza principalmente para el protocolo RIP, ya que no hay muchos otros comandos disponibles para solucionar problemas.

Enrutamiento a través de EIGRPAhora vamos a comunicar las subredes mediante el protocolo de enrutamiento EIGRP. A continuación se detallará el proceso de configuración de este protocolo para enrutar las subredes calculadas anteriormente.

Comandos:

Para el proceso de configuración de los protocolos de enrutamiento se seguirá la siguiente secuencia de comandos por router:
