Objectives of RemediaTo allow a framework where scientists can develop efforts and cooperate with other social agents under the overarching umbrella of the general Spanish Low Carbon Development Strategy.
– To Synthesise, integrate and inform about existing scientific evidence in Spain on strategies of GHG mitigation in the agroforestry sector.
– To enhance synergies, dissemination and knowledge transfer at different levels
– To enhance exchange of information and excellence amongst researchers from a multidisciplinary approach
– To identify and propose specific scientific initiatives focused on mitigation and adaptation of agroforestry systems to climate change
– To interact with other research networks. – To cooperate with Policy Makers and private sector: e.g. MAGRAMA– To promote international collaborations

Potential collaborations with Vietnam
• Promote and advise in the creation of a similar Vietnamese initiative (if there is not any)
• Collaborative research projects (field measurements, modelling, etc.)
• Research network for Vietnamese-Spanish researchers (e.g. supporting travelling and research stays, etc.)
• Establish links with Spanish Speaking countries(e.g. Latin America)• others
