1. OverviewHarbin Institute of Technology, Harbin ChinaHarbin Institute of Technology (HIT) was founded in 1920.
After 90 years, HIT has developed into a large nationally renowned multi-disciplinary university.
In 2004, HIT became the first university to fully construct, develop and launch micro-satellite in China. In 2008, HIT launched
its second micro-satellite, which is still working now.

Research Center of Satellite Technology (RCST) was founded in 1998. It occupies an area of about 6200m2, and has a staff of 23, and about 60 postgraduates. In 2004 and 2008, it launched its two micro-satellites.
