香港科技大学とSENGについて

香港科技大学は1991年に設立された若い公立大学でありながら、学術業績だけではなく、学生の就職率でも世界的に高く評価されています。また、香港・中国の多くの大学のなかで最もグローバル化が進んでいる大学の一つです（４割の外国人学生、７割の外国籍研究者・教授陣）。SENGは香港科技大学のなかで最も規模の大きな学部・研究科で、その学生数は大学全体の40%を占めています。

SENGの大学院プログラム Masterコース・DoctorコースSENGには12の専攻科があります。異分野融合・複合領域の研究や革新的な研究を行う専攻科もあります。多くの研究科で、MasterコースとDoctorコースを設置しています。

Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS)• 学術業績が優れたDoctorコースの学生を対象にした香港政府の奨学金

• HK$240,000/year, plus a conference travel allowance of HK$10,000/year

入学の条件 入学にあたっては、学生が下記の条件を満たす必要があります。

基本的な条件Masterコースへ入学する場合:• 香港政府の教育機関あるいは日本の文部科学省に認められた大学において、学士号あるいは同等の資格を取得している事。

Doctorコースへ入学する場合:• 香港政府の教育機関あるいは日本の文部科学省に認められた大学において、学士号、修士号あるいは同等の資格を取得している事。学士号のみ取得している場合は、学術業績が高く評価されている事。※コースによって、他の条件が求められる場合があります。詳細はウェブページにてご確認ください。

英語力について第一言語（母国語）が英語ではない場合、下記の条件を満たす必要があります。また、卒業あるいは修了した大学が英語を第一言語としていない場合も同様です。
