    Communities in Romania

    design and implement the

    Social Atlas of the Roma

    Communities in Romania by

    involving Roma communities

    in the process;

    provide expert advice to

    relevant public institutions in

    Romania who are using the

    data in order to improve the

    public policies for the benefit

    of the Roma communities

    3. NGO Forum

    to bring together for the

    National Forum of RomanianNGOs organisations

    throughout Romania and

    with various field of activity,

    for establishing in a

    participatory and

    transparent manner their

    vision upon the NGO sector

    for 1 year, to facilitate the knowledge of

    politicians, public authorities,

    business sector and mass

    media upon the core

    legitimised vision of the

    public evolution of the

    Romania NGO sector

    2. Resources for the future -

    developing and strengthening

    capacity of NGOs to efficiently

    fundraise

    strengthening the long-termcapacity of Romanian NGOs to

    Objective: supporting the Romanian NGOs (potential applicants) in searching for partners from donorcountries and/or in developing the partnership and preparing and submitting a project based on this

    partnership.

    Thematic workshops in order to facilitate the development of partnerships among NGOs in Romania and

    in the donor states (Launching event)

    Measure b)

    Study visits - 3 study visits will be organized by the PO, one in each donor state. 10 to 15 participants will

    take part in each visit

    Objective: to strengthen the partnerships and to allow the exchange of experience, knowledge and good

    practices between the project promoters and entities in the donor states

    How much involvement desire exists among NGOs in Romania?

    About 800%.

    Within the first Round of Calls for Proposals under the NGO Fund in Romania Program, thetotal amount requested through the projects submitted is 8,23 times higher than theamount allocated.

    there were submitted approximately 1500 projects proposal. For this first Round there were

    allocated a total of 15.93 million of euro that covers less than 12% of the requested amount.

    The second call for proposal to be launched in april 2014.
