    directional as well as oppositional

    linear forces.

    5. Explain the meaning of resultantof forces.

    A.

    Introduction (10 minutes)Apperception and Motivation

    - Teacher asks the students how they are doing in the class so far.

    - Teacher inquires the whole class by asking Do forces have direction?

    B. Core Activities (100 minutes)B.1. Exploration

    - Students are assigned into small groups.

    - Students are asked to investigate to determine that forces have direction by

conducting an experiment of pushing and pulling a table.

B.2. Elaboration- Students are to make conclusion out of the above experiment.

    C. Closing (25 minutes)C.1. Confirmation

    - Teacher leads students through discussion to discover that all forces have a

direction in which they act in, either positive or negative.

    - Teacher assigns problems as exercise.

    SESSION II:

    Indicators PKBN2K Characteristics

    Value Indicator

    1. Explain the meaning of frictionalforce.

    2. Perform an experiment onfrictional force.

    3. Investigate the factors that affectfrictional force.

    A. Introduction (10 minutes)Apperception and Motivation

    - Teacher asks the students how they are doing in the class so far.

    - Teacher inquires the whole class by asking Teacher asks the class Why is it

harder to push a table on a rough surface compare to pushing the table on

    smoother surface?

    B. Core Activities (100 minutes)B.1. Exploration

    - Students are assigned to small groups.

    - Students are asked to investigate the influence of surface of a plane when

frictional force is applied on it by conducting an experiment on different

type of plane surfaces with varying degree of roughness.

    - Students are to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of frictional forces

    in everyday life.

    B.2. Elaboration

    - Students are to make conclusion out of the above experiment.

    C. Closing (25 minutes)C.1. Confirmation

    - Teacher leads students through discussion to discover the influence of

different type of contact surfaces when frictional force is acting on these

surfaces, and the advantages and disadvantages of frictional forces in

    everyday life.

    - Teacher assigns problems as exercise.

    B.2. Elaboration

    - Students are asked to make conclusion out of the above experiment.

    C. Closing (25 minutes)C.1. Confirmation

    - Teacher leads students through discussion to discover that weight and mass

are not the same quantities.- Teacher assigns problems as exercise.
