DEVELOPMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

We can provide effective legal support on economic infrastructure at all project stages. Our involvement includes structuring contracts and procurements and advice on specialist areas (in relation to the planning, implementation and operational stages), including regulatory, competition, EU law, judicial review, procurement, state aid, planning and dispute resolution.

Our large team of highly experienced specialist lawyers advises on all aspects of UK and international construction, engineering and procurement. It has supported a multitude of development and infrastructure projects, from office and retail, through to major energy and utilities infrastructure. For example, advising in the following sectors:

► FTSE100 utilities company, United Utilities, on a £1bn water and wastewater infrastructure project, one of the largest in the UK for the period 2015-2020

► FTSE100 energy company, SSE on the £250m Gas to West project, comprising new gas transmission and distribution infrastructure, delivering gas to the West of Northern Ireland
