The International Music Council (IMC), founded in 1949 by UNESCO, is the world's largest network of organizations, institutions and individuals working in the field of music.

The International Music Council promotes musical diversity, access to culture for all and unites organizations in some 150 countries worldwide in building peace and understanding among peoples of all cultures and heritage.

Spiritus Mundi has been involved in programmes in Sweden, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Libya, Niger, Israel, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Denmark and Norway
