Diabetic retinopathy workshop: 14‐15 January, 2012
SNC has organized a workshop on Diabetic retinopathy from 14th‐15th January, 2012. The guest faculty of the workshop was Dr. Rajiv Raman, Director, VR services, Choithram Netralaya, Indore and Ex – Senior Consultant, Sankara Netralaya, Chenna i. The workshop was based on Open House Case Discussion and Hands on training on FFA, OCT, B‐Scan. Total 47 Participants took benefit of the workshop.
Help‐me‐see project: Help Me See team comprising of its Vice‐Chairman Mr. Tie and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Mohan along with Director (program and field operations) Mr. Venkatraman visited SNC between January 24‐26, 2012 to plan how the services of SNC can be strengthened to double the reach of services. After the visit to Chitrakoot elaborate discussions were held in Delhi with Mr. Vishad Mafatlal, Chairman of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust where in broader issues of partnership were discussed to ensure significant reduction in blindness in the catchment population of SNC.
Sadguru Parivar Netra yagna: 01st Jan‐30th Jan, 2012 With all blessings of our Gurudev (Param pujya Shri Ranchhoddas ji maharaj), the team of sadguru parivar has organized a Netradan yagna in extension to the vision of our gurudev by providing sight to around 4000 poor and needy people. Arvind Eye Hospital visit A team of clinicians, Administrators, managers, supervisors and parmedical staff from Arvind eye care system visited SNC to observe sytems and as well how well SNC scaled up the capacity in the last 10 years.

Jankikund Chikitsalaya- Chitrakoot Free Fistula Camp: 24th Feb, 2012 Jankikund Chikitsalya has organized free fistula camp. The chief surgeon was Dr. R.N. Sahu, Medical College, Jabalpur. Total 17 procedures were held in the camp.
Rural Health Camp: 03rd Mar, 2012 Jankikund Chikitsalaya has organized rural health camp in Village Pathra Paldev, Block Majhgawan District Satna (M.P.). The team of JKC facilitated the camp with General Health Checkup including Eye, Dental, Vaccination, Medicine and Gynae.

FUSION 2012 AT LVPEI Dr. Amol chawhan participated in the fusion 2012 “pediatric Opthalmology and strabismus”. The conference was organized in LVPEI from 12‐14th Feb in Hyderabad.

Surgical camp Sadguru Sankalp Chikitsalaya organized surgical camp for poor patient of community from 9th‐13th Feb 2012. Dr. V. Agrawal, a volunteer surgeon provided his services to 36 patients.
General surgery camp Sadguru Sankalp Chikitsalaya organized surgical camp from 29‐31st, March 2012. Surgeries were done by Dr. Sanjay shah from Rajkot. The purpose of camp is to serve poor and needy people of community who cannot afford the surgical cost.

On the occasion of Maha Shiv‐ratri Manas Kathaevam Ramayan Paath was carried out at Shri Ramdas Hanuman Mandir from 12th – 20th Feb, 2012. The Manas Katha Paath was conducted by Pujya Shri Maithali Sharan Ji Maharaj.
