Project Description:
CITI GROUPCorporation is a Bank in the US, having a wide subscriber base. Asset
Management system is being maintained by SMITH BARNEY INC which is part of
CITIGROUP. It is mainly being used to maintain citi group users assets. It is also
driving its customers by providing them with investment plans and performance of
their assets in the market.
Outside Mutual Funds (OMF): Application supports the entire Mutual Funds
universe of the Smith Barney Asset management. This is used by the Financial
Advisors and the Branch Cage operators to transact the Mutual funds for SB clients.
There are various processes supported by this application.The vital few are buy,sell, exchange, transfer, flip, Acat and commission processes. This consists of MEO
(Mutual Fund Order Entry System), Legal Surveillance, SWIS, No-Load Processing,
TRAK and commission systems.
Responsibilities:
Analysis of program/data problems, enhancement of existing
Functionalities.
Doing Impact analysis and Preparation of technical documents.
Modification of existing programs according to the change requirement.
Responsible for coding programs, unit test cases and testing.

Project Description:
This project falls under BFS Domain (Banking and Financial Services) Merrill
Lynch has developed GWM-Taxlot application to provide support to the businessusers and financial advisors in maintaining the portfolio of various account holders
of ML. It also provides support to various external source data for their operational
and analytical support. This data is maintained in centralized repositories outside of
the core processor and distributed to stakeholders (partners, business users, etc.)
who do not have access to the central repositories.
Responsibilities:
Participate in project meeting, suggest for improvements in coding/QC
techniques
Involved in Development & Maintenance.
Resolving ABEND's during the job execution.
Involved in the System Testing phase executing the jobs and providing
the results.
Submit Batch jobs (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly) and reviewing.
Report Generation & Make Code changes as analyzed in the Design
document.
