Le mot du président

Je viens d’être nommé Président d’ISF lors du conseil d’administration du 28 avril 2012.

Adhérent depuis 2006 et responsable des Labels depuis 2009, qui suis je?Passionné de photos animalières et de nature, donc patient, tolérant et précis, je suis également quelqu’un de rigoureux dans le travail et ne conçoit pas l’avancée d’ISF sans le concours et l’implication de tous ceux qui sont ralliés à ISF jusqu’à ce jour.

Mes souhaits :

Raviver les passions de chacun, répondre à vos besoins et sollicitations. Afin de réaliser ces objectifs, il faut tout d’abord mettre a jour le fichier membres pour cela, un formulaire sera créé et envoyé à chacun pour actualiser les informations personnelles et obtenir un éventail des souhaits émis par l’ensemble des adhérents.

Utiliser les moyens informatiques actuels pour étendre rapidement la communication internationale. Un nouveau programme informatique est en cours de réalisation qui permettra de tenir le fichier membres à jour et éviter les dérapages (cartes, relances...) qui créent des inconvénients et ternissent l’image d’ISF...

Utiliser les compétences : je crois aux qualités de chacun et mon but est de faire adhérer un maximum de potentiel souhaitant s’impliquer dans les différentes actions menées par ISF. Il faut donc inciter les membres à être actifs dans les responsabilités et les fonctions où il y a un réel besoin, remuer l’existant et permettre l’investissement de nouvelles têtes.

Déjà, nous avons une nouvelle recrue, Martine, qui a la responsabilité du fichier membres, elle supervisera le transfert informatique, et en collaboration avec l’équipe en place, se chargera de l’élaboration des courriers et travaillera sur les anomalies rencontrées.C’est un enjeu important que je mènerai à bien en collaboration avec vous et l’équipe actuelle, toujours active et motivée, que je remercie vivement pour le travail exécuté jusqu’à présent. Je remercie aussi les adhérents d’être toujours présents malgré une année charnière difficile à gérer depuis le départ de Marie-France et m’engage à répondre à vos attentes.

The word of the President I have just been named President of ISF during the board of directors of April 28th, 2012.

Member since 2006 and in charge of Labels since 2009, Who am I?Passionate of animal and nature photos, thus patient, tolerant and precise, I am also a rigorous person in the work and I cannot conceive the advance of ISF without the help and implication of all those who are members of ISF.

My wishes:Revive the passions of everyone, answer your needs and requests. To realize these objectives, it is necessary to update, first of all, the

file members. A form will be created and sent to every member to get the personal information and their whishes.

Use the current computing means to spread quickly an international communication. A new IT program is in progress who will allow us to keep up to date files and to avoid skids which create inconveniences and tarnish the image of ISF...

Use the skills : I believe in the qualities of each person and my purpose is to federate a maximum of people to get involved in the various actions conducted by ISF. It is thus necessary to incite members to be active in the responsibilities and the functions where actual needs exist. Move the existing and allow the investment of new heads.

Already, we have a new « working girl », Martine, who is in charge of the file member, she will supervise the IT transfer, and in association with the team, she will take care of the elaboration of the mails and will work on the bug tracking system. It is the mattering stake that I shall bring to a successful conclusion in association with you and the current team, always active and motivated, that I deeply thank for the work executed until now. I also thank the members for being always present in spite of a watershed year, difficult to manage since the departure of Marie-France and commit myself to answer your expectations.

Suite à notre première de « vos photos à la Une » un de nos membres nous a écrit nous faisant remarquer que nos publications photographiques étaient rarement consacrées à des sujets tels que le sport ou la créativité. Nous ne savions pas, lors de la première édition de « vos photos à la Une », quelle serait la participation de nos membres et avions souhaité embrasser une large majorité de photographes. Ce magazine étant le vôtre, nous avons donc lancé cet appel. Et encore une fois, vous avez répondu présent !

Le prochain bulletin publiera les résultats de la World Cup 2012. Soyez donc nombreux à y participer, et retrouvez les informations sur notre site www.image-sans-frontiere.com. La rédaction

Further to our first « Vos Photos à la Une», one of our members wrote pointing out to us that our photographic publications were rarely dedicated to subjects such as sport or creativity. We did not know, during the first edition of « Vos Photos à la Une», what would be the participation of our members and had wished to embrace photographers’ big majority. This magazine being yours, thus we issued this appeal. And once again, you are présent !

asseMBLee GeneraLe Du 28/04/2012 à rueil Malmaison.

Suite à la démission de Jaume BADIA du poste de président, et à la décision du Conseil d’Administration, l’Assemblée Générale a été convoquée à Rueil-Malmaison. La grande fête de la photo et la réunion des adhérents prévues à Barcelone n’a donc pu avoir lieu et nous le déplorons fortement.

Après le décès de Marie France DELATTRE, et à cause l’indisponibilité pour raisons de santé ou de famille touchant différents responsables, l’année 2011 a été une année de transition. Le Conseil d’administration, malgré ces difficultés et les démissions enregistrées, a la volonté de poursuivre l’action de notre regrettée présidente et de ses prédécesseurs. Tous ceux qui veulent nous aider sont les bienvenus pour organiser une vie associative plus conviviale et remédier au manque de communication entre les adhérents.

L’assemblée générale est un événement annuel incontournable pour les associations. Depuis l’adoption des nouveaux statuts, chaque adhérent d’Image sans Frontière a un droit de vote. Les convocations avaient été envoyées par internet trois semaines avant mais peu de pouvoirs de vote ont été retournés. Nous espérons que l’an prochain, un plus grand intérêt sera manifesté pour cette réunion.

Les différents points prévus à l’ordre du jour ont été examinés et ont donné lieu à des votes à l’unanimité, notamment les rapports d’activité et financier, le budget prévisionnel et le règlement intérieur. Les élections du tiers sortant du conseil d’administration ont reconduit les sortants qui se représentaient et fait entrer deux nouveaux membres : Martine DEBEIR, qui prendra en charge la gestion des adhésions et Gérard CASSIN, Chairman Général de la World Cup. Le vote relatif au montant des cotisations pour l’année 2013 a maintenu les montants actuels sans augmentation.

Dans le prochain bulletin, sera présenté le nouveau conseil d’administration sous forme de trombinoscope.

A.G.M. in Rueil-Malmaison, France (28 04 2012)

Following Jaume BADIA’s resignation from Presidency and the decision of the Steering Committee, the AGM was held in Rueil Malmaison, France. The big photo venue and the gathering of the members of the association which was planned to take place in Barcelona could not be held there which we sincerely regret.

After Marie France DELATTRE’s untimely death, and because of difficulties in terms of family or health problems concerning a number of directors, the past year (2011) was a year of transition. The Steering Committee, despite these difficulties and a number of resignations, has endeavoured to carry on the policies initiated and implemented by our late president and her predecessors. All those who wish to help us are more than welcome to organize a better and more friendly social life in our association and remedy the lack of communication between members.

The AGM is a compulsory annual event for associations. Since the new statutes have been adopted every single member of Image sans Frontière, has now a right to vote. Summons for the meeting were dispached 3 weeks before the date of the AGM and yet few delegations were sent back. We do hope next year, a larger interest in the event will be shown by everybody.

The various items on the agenda were examined and gave rise to unanymous acceptance votes, namely the financial and activity reports, the provisional budget and the internal rules. The elections of one third of the outgoing Committee were reelected and two new members were elected i.e. Martine DEBEIR who will be in charge of memberships and Gérard CASSIN who will be the general chairman of the World Cup. Membership dues for 2013 have been unchanged after the vote on this issue.

The next Newsletter will feature the new Steering Committee’s who’s who with photos of the directors.

exposition à ho Chi Minh ville, Vietnam

L’exposition de photos “Moi et la Nature” par Nguyen Thu Tinh s’est tenu en avril et a réuni 48 photos de paysages et d’arbres prises au Vietnam de 2005 à 2012.

L’artiste est un amoureux de la nature pour qui les changements les plus subtils de la végétation sont en intime correspondance avec les inflexions de ses états d’âme.Organisée en collaboration avec l’Institut d’Échanges Culturels avec la France (IDECAF), l’exposition a attiré un public nombreux lors de son vernissage.

Thu Tinh, né en 1970, est un photographe free-lance Vietnamien vivant à Ho Chi Minh ville.

Actuellement, il est Vice-Président du Club Photo de Gia Dinh au Vietnam. Il appartient également à l’Association vietnamienne des artistes photographiques (Vietnam Associa-tion of Photographic Artists = VAPA) et la Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP).

Exhibition at Ho Chi Minh ville, Vietnam

The exhibitionof photos “ I and the Nature “ by Nguyen Thu Tinh took place in April and gathered 48 photos of landscapes and trees taken in Vietnam from 2005 till 2012.

The artist is a nature lover for whom the most subtle changes of the vegetation are in most correspondence with the inflections of his moods.

Organized in association with the Institute of Cultural exchanges with France ( IDECAF), the exhibition attracted a numerous public during its varnishing.

Thu Tinh, was born in 1970, he is a freelance vietnamese photographer living in Ho Chi Minh city. At present, he is Vice-president of the Club Phoo of Gia Dinh in Vietnam.

It is also up to the Vietnamese Association of the photographic artists (Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists = VAPA) and the International Federation of the Photographic Art ( FIAP).

Exposition de prestige, entièrement gratuite, le plus grand Festival Photo en plein air de France.

Le prochain sommet des nations Unies sur le développement durable aura lieu à Rio de Janeiro en juin 2012, 20 ans après celui historique de 1992 et le Festival Photo Peuples et Nature de La Gacilly se veut être l’ambassadeur de ce sommet décisif.Le festival, fidèle à son thème initial : protéger la nature pour assurer la survie des peuples, aura en 2012 les couleurs du Brésil et de Rio.

Des photographes renommés nous ferons découvrir ce pays.

Partenaire du club photo de La Gacilly et du Festival depuis sa création et pour la

9ème édition, le Collectif Images Sans Frontière présentera des photos sur le thème de l’année : Ma Terre.

Parmi plus de 200 photos reçues, 20 photos sélectionnées par les organisateurs, sont exposées en grand format à la Galerie du Port.250 000 visiteurs sont attendus de début juin à fin septembre.

Festival Photo La Gacilly

Completely free, prestigious exhibition, the biggest outdoor Festival Photo of France. The next United Nations summit on the sustainable development will take place in Rio de Janeiro in June, 2012, 20 years after the historic one of 1992 and the Photo festival « peoples and Nature » of La Gacilly wants to be the ambassador of this decisive summit.

The festival, faithful to its initial thème : protection of the nature to insure the survival of the peoples, will have in 2012 the colors of Brazil and Rio.

Famous photographers will help us to discover this country.

Partner of the club photo of La Gacilly and the Festival since its creation and for the 9th edition, the Collective Images Without Border will present photos on the theme of the year : my Earth.

More than 200 received photos, 20 photos selected by the organizers are exposed in big size to the « Galerie du Por t ».250 000 visitors are expected from June to September.

J’ai commençé la photographie en 1979. Je fus le fondateur et le Président d’un club photo et j’ai organisé un concours national pendant 5 ans. Au cours de ces années là, j’ai obtenu de nombreux prix. J’ai été publié dans “Fotografare”, “Reflex”, le catalogue “Sicof 82” et l’annuaire FIAF en 82, 83, 84 et 85. J’ai repris la photo en 2005 et j’ai commencé des concours nationaux et internationaux qui m’ont permis d’obtenir des récompenses comme le prestigieux Al-Thani Award 2006 au Qatar.J’ai eu d’autres prix en Italie, et au niveau international plusieurs récompenses au Trierenberg Super Circuit en Autriche, à Lishui en Chine , en Ukraine, à l’Aqueducte de Barcelone – aux Baléares –à Reus en Espagne, à Algarve au Portugal . D’autres récompenses aussi en France, en Argentine, en Finlande, en Roumanie, en Chine et en Indonesie.J’ai aussi été publié sur des revues photo italiennes et étrangères et quelque unes de mes images font partie du Museo Internazional de la Fotografia à Cerdanyola del Valles (Barcelone-Espagne) et du Musée de Lishui (Chine).En 2008, j’ai reçu la distinction Afiap et à l’occasion de la Coupe du Monde ‘‘biennale’ ’. En 2010 j’ai obtenu 21 récompenses internationales et 14 en 2011.

I started photography in 1979. I created a photo club of which I became President and I organized a national contest for 5 years. During those years I obtained numerous awards. I had images published on « fotografare », « Reflex », « Sicof 82 » catalogue, and the Fiaf year book in 82, 83, 84, 85. I resumed photography in 2005 and started entering national and international contests. These enabled me to gain awards such as the prestigious Al-Thani Award in 2006 in Qatar. I had other awards in Italy and in national and international salons such as Trierenberg Super Circuit in Austria, Lishui in China, in Ukraine, at Aqueducte (Barcelona), the Balears, Reus in Spain and Algarve in Portugal. Other awards as well were obtained in France, Argentina, Finland, Rumania, China and Indonesia. I also published photos in Italian and foreign magazines and some of my photos are kept by the Museo International de la fotografia of Cerdanyola del Valles (Barcelona) and at Lishui museum in China.In 2008 I obtained the Afiap distinction and I obtained an indvidual award at the « black and white biennal » World Cup in Indonesia. Afterwards i was awarded the Efiap distinction in 2009.I also take part in national and international juries !In 2010 I obtained 21 international awards and 14 in 2011.

Je suis né à Nantes, sud Bretagne, ville où je réside encore après avoir travaillé plus de vingt ans en qualité d’ingénieur géotechnicien.Mon premier appareil photo, un Nikkormat EL, a été acquis en 1972 pour un voyage en Afrique. En effet, parcourir le monde est ma première passion et au départ j’utilisais la photo pour illustrer mes carnets de voyage.Membre de l’association ABM, Aventure du Bout du Monde, aujourd’hui la photographie me sert surtout à témoigner de mes rencontres de personnes ou de lieux extraordinaires que la chance me permet d’approcher.Fin 2010, un voyage en Patagonie me fit découvrir des horizons fantastiques où la lumière australe dégage une magie indescriptible.

I was born in Nantes, South Brittany, city where I live even having worked more than twenty years as géotechnicien engineer.My first camera, Nikkormat EL, was acquired in 1972 for a trip in Africa. Indeed, going around the world is my first passion and at the beginning I used the photo to illustrate my journey diaries.Member of the association ABM, Adventure of the End of the Earth, today photography is for me the way to testify of unusual encounter, of extraordinary that I was Lucky to see.At the end of 2010,during a trip in Patagonia, I discovered fantastic horizons where the southern light loosens an indescribable magic.
