To whom it may concern,

I am writing to express my interest to work in your team because I am aware your practice values creative talent and innovative ideas, both of which I’m ready to deliver.

I am a fully qualified architect graduated in the Higher Technical School of Architecture, University of Seville, Spain, in 2011 with a comprehensive academic and professional background.

During the last two years of my graduation I was working as a part time architect as well as an university researcher while was still developing my final university project. This gave me the opportunity to gain valuable office and on-site experience.

I have also participated in architectural design competitions in architecture and city-planning fields as part of a work team such as “Health center in Jerez” (Cadiz) and “Business school in Ecija” (Seville). Not only I have designed, managed and executed those projects but also I’ve maintained a close ongoing relationship with clients.

I have a solid work experience, both in architecture and structures design. I have had the opportunity to coordinate logistics and activities with suppliers and on-site teams during my work on the project of “203 homes in the airport area of Seville”. Thanks to my training in Spain, I am also qualified for facilities planning.

Maria Quintero from “AKS architects and engineers” suggested me to apply to your practice. We were colleagues at the University, and worked together in several projects. I am happy to provide more references, if needed.

I have got a great initiative and passion for architecture. I work extremely well in a team and can easily adapt to different environments. I consider myself to be a very active and energetic person, always looking for new challenges. I am a precise, organized and proactive professional who is available to travel or to work abroad.

On my spare time, I like to practice cycling and outdoor activities like hiking and climbing. I am very fond of water sports such as rowing, sailing and swimming. I have been involved in AWF (architects without frontiers) as a volunteer member organizing courses to promote equitable and sustainable human development.

Should you be interested, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would welcome the opportunity to present and discuss my portfolio at your convenience.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your consideration.

DOMOarq s. coop. It is an initiative based on self-employment business of associate professionals in architecture, which uses the legal status of the worker cooperative as a clear expression of its values and its ideals of organization and operation.

The incorporation of the company in mid-2003 comes in a changing socio-economic and demanding environment. In this context raises this firm, as a commitment to social economy and as a response to the commitment demanded by the times: development of private economic activity from the association of people in democratic institutions and participatory type primacy of personal contributions over capital.

Among our objectives we highlight to form a dynamic and practical experience, the vocation of qualitative and quantitative growth and the generation of a positive environmental impact on society.

DOMOarq directs the essential provision of services to the development, management and coordination of projects and construction works (new plant, reform and rehabilitation) as well as figures of development planning and development projects, operating mainly in the autonomous community of Andalusia.

Another of the premises is the complete customer satisfaction through the professional practice of architecture and urban design, contributing to the realization of social justice, fair distribution of wealth and a sustainable relationship with the environment.

This will develop integrative proposals of different social sectors and their needs, from approaches that meet the legal and regulatory requirements explicit, incorporate research, innovation and use of materials, construction techniques and technology solutions with a respectful and reasonable energy consumption.

This relationship will enhance the interdisciplinary and complementary own professional activity, preserving these goals.

Also, through a continuous improvement program, will form its members both own disciplinary matters of architecture and the enterprise and cooperative principles and values.
