When SANY Germany transitioned from producing C oncre te E qu ipment to becom i ng t he de s ig n a nd manufacturing platform for SANY Port Machinery in Europe, the market took notice.

Since January 2013, SANY Germany strategically began focusing on Mobile Port Machinery for the European market. The strategy was clear; develop and manufacture CE Certificated Mobile Port Machinery while penetrating the European Market by way of appointing Premium Dealers. So far, some early successes have been achieved using this strategy such as:

➢February 2013, SANY Germany and PSA Antwerp, Belgium signed a deal for 3 units of Reachstacker 4535.

➢A p r i l 2 01 3 , S A N Y Germany signs FSH GmbH to become their Mobile Port M a c h i n e r y d e a l e r f o r G e r m a n y, Au s t r i a a n d Switzerland.

➢ J u n e 2 0 1 3 , S A N Y Germany sel ls 2 units of Reachstacker 4531 to TIV Ter m i na le Inter mod a le Venice, Italy

➢ J u l y 2 0 1 3 , S A N Y Germany signed a deal for the first Tier IV final Reachstacker with GUT Germsheim, Germany.

➢In August 2013, the first SANY „Made in Germany“ Reachstacker was delivered to PSA Antwerp, Belgium.

Based on these successes and market exposure, more and more customers and potential dealers wanted to find out for themselves if SANY Germany could be a reliable supplier/partner for them.

On September 19-20, SANY Germany, along with FSH GmbH, opened their doors to welcome over 100 guests from every corner of the container handling industry which included port operators, container terminals, shipping companies, freight forwarding companies, rail operators,

and members of the media. The majority of guests were from Germany and were long t ime customers of FSH GmbH when t hey were CVS Ferra r i dea lers . These customers praised FSH GmbH for their professionalism and reliability in after sales service and continue to trust FSH GmbH as they promote SANY.

One of the reasons Germany is able to be such an industrial powerhouse has a lot to do with the intermodal network across the country.

Germany boasts the world’s 15th and 23rd busiest ports in Hamburg and Bremerhaven, respectively, with a combined total throughput of 12,771,297 TEUs in 2012. Germany also has an impressive 300+ network of inland

and river container terminals that connect the large ports to the hinterland.

When asked about the German market, Paolo Dazi, Director of Port Machinery for S A N Y G e r m a n y s t a t e d , „Germany doesn’t just host some of the busiest ports in E u r o p e [ H a m b u r g a n d Bremerhaven], but it also has one of the largest networks of inland and river terminals, not

Therefore, as SANY Germany open its’ doors on September 19, the German market began looking and talking - SANY Germany listened.

Sany attend the first Bauma Africa and hold the first Dealer Summit of Sany CSA

Messe München International is expand-ing its international network for the construc-tion machinery sector with the launch of a new event in South Africa. The first bauma Africa takes place from September 18–21, 2013 in Jo-hannesburg and is directed primarily at attend-ees from Sub-Saharan Africa.

There are over 400 exhibitors and 14000 visitors during the first bauma Africa. Which including SANY, JCB, BELL, Wirtgen, PM, XCMG, Shantui and so on.

Sany stand is 1000 spm, where near the parking area, when all visitors and exhibitors enter into parking area, will attract by Sany flags.

Sany display 8 units machinery which including SRT95, SRT55C, SY700, SY465, SAC2200F, SRC550H, SMG200, SCO16002, and SRT95, SRT55C, SY700, SAC2200F, SMG200

were display for the first time in Africa.All the display equipment has been or-

dered by client after the show, and the Orders of intent reach to 3 hundred million RMB.

During the second day of show, when is 19th, Sep. And it is right the Chinese the Mid-autumn Festival. Sany CSA hold the first Dears Summit, all Sany dealers come from Africa countries and the Chief from Sany main ma-chinery business unit attend the Summit.

All sany dealers visit the H.Q. of Sany CSA and 6s center during the Summit.

After that all dealers said that “From this Summit, firm confidence of be dealer of Sany, and will follow sany “s development, and we do believe that the cooperation between us is long-term, consistent and mutual beneficial. “

After the 4 groups had completed the tour of the 4 stations, everyone rendezvoused on the terrace of the main meeting room to see a Demo Show by the SANY Germany Staff headed by Ingo Mosisch.

On Friday September 20, at 9:00, the Open House was not over, in fact, FSH GmbH arranged to have one SANY Germany Reachstacker to be tested in CTS Cologne Container Terminal. FSH GmbH took all of the guests to the terminal to watch as the SANY Germany Reachstacker made another demo show, but this time in real working conditions.

Container Terminal, all the guests were undoubtedly impressed. CTS Cologne Container Terminal was also so impressed with the tested unit, that during the bus tour of the terminal, Mr. Hans-Peter Wieland and Mr. Ralf Kirion announced to everyone that CTS Cologne will purchase the test unit!

Overall, September 19-20, 2013 will mark the first time SANY Germany opened its’ doors for the European container handling market, but surely this will not be the last time as SANY Germany has strategic plans to be the number one choice for Mobile Port Equipment in Europe.

After the demo show, FSH GmbH, arranged for a bus to take everyone on a tour of the beautiful German city of Cologne which is about 30 minutes east of Bedburg. After the tour of the city, FSH GmbH invited all 100 guests and SANY Germany to enjoy another delicious German meal.

At 10:00, the guests began arriving at SANY Germany where SANY employees awaited to receive them.

At 11:00, the guests were guided upstairs to the main meeting room where Bart Decroos, Managing Director of SANY Germany, welcomed them, followed by a presentation by Janina Weigel, Sales Administration Coordinator.

From 12:00-13:00 guests enjoyed a German style lunch with local favorites such as Schnitzel, Bratwurst, and Kartoffen in the Canteen. After lunch, the guests were divided into 4 groups and then given a tour of the facilities. SANY Germany staff created 4 unique stations in order to give guests a full overview of the capacity of SANY Germany. These 4 stations included:

➢ Reachstacker, Empty Container Handler, and Heavy Duty Forklift Station with Paolo Dazi, Andreas Pauly and Ronny Krueger.

Sany South Africa region's first summit achieved succeed

On 19th, September, 2013, Chinese Mid-Autumn festival, 1st Sany Southern African Re-gion Agent Summit was held in Johannesburg, South Africa, in which 13 agents from the south-ern African and all the equip-ment business unit leaders have attended.

Trust, cooperation and mutual benefit are the theme of this summit. Agents and lead-ers of Sany communicated face-to-face discussing the Sany in-ternationalization strategy and panorama. In the summit, the agents shared their experience and expressed their difficulty during the work. And the leaders of each equipment business unit listened attentively to the agent’s real thoughts. The communica-tion in the summit helped Sany know more about its agents and

accumulate the basic informa-tion for the agency’s motivation policy.

In the Summit dinner, has performed the African drum, held the good agent award cer-emony , organized the lottery activity and shared the mid au-tumn festival moon cake. Com-bined with the local customs and Chinese elements, all the participant were enjoying in this summit.

1st Sany Southern African Region Agent Summit acquired the remarkable achievements. The summit reiterated the im-portance of relationship between Sany and its agents. The agents is the driving force of the devel-opment of Sany. Sany adhere to help its agents achieve success strengthen the cooperation with

the agent and create a better to-morrow together with the agents. Agents expressed that: “Through this summit, they have firmed the confidence in the products of Sany and will devote more efforts to expand the market,follow the Sany development step and real-ize mutual benefit !”

On September 6, 2013, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister and Ambassador to Brazil Li Jinzhang, commercial counselor Tian Min and general manager of SANY Brazil Cui Zhongyang, visited the SANY San Jose factory, which is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Local government representatives of Brazil, the mayor of San Jose Carlinho Almeida, the mayor of Jacarei Hamilton Ribeiro Mota and SANY management staff accompanied their visit.

During the visit, Ambassador Li Jinzhang met with the local government representatives of Brazil, SANY executives and the media. General Manager Cui Zhongyang introduced SANY’s development process to the ambassador and Brazil’s mayor. He said that first-stage project of SANY new factory in Jacarei city shall be complete and put into use at the end of 2014 and in 2016, SANY shall realized local production of SANY products. The ambassador

showed his confidence in SANY of Brazil; he pointed out that the good cooperation between China and Brazil over the last ten years have created a fruitful results in the field of trade; two countries with different culture cooperated each other. He hoped that SANY can achieve better performance in Brazil. San Jose and Jacarei mayor also introduced the contributions made by SANY to the development of local economy to Ambassador Li Jinzhang and said it would continue to support the development of Chinese enterprises in the Brazil.

After the symposium, Deputy General Manager of SANY Brazil Wu Xiaowei led Ambassador Li Jinzhang and two mayors to visit the staff office area as well as production line for crane and excavator.

On August 22, the Product Exhibition held by SANY Brazil crane sales department and its distributor ERGOMAX was successfully held in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo RIBEIRAO PRETO.

During this exhibition, SANY received 8 crane intention orders, and sold one 80T SANY crane. Nearly 60 local hoisting equipment users were invited to the meeting, and most of them were crane rental companies with the purchasing power.

In order to promote brand influence, SANY invited its local customer Ferzin to the exhibition and showed the 80T crane purchased by him. Customers and guests shared their experiences of using SANY products. They

highly praised SANY’s after-sales service and products. Old customers’ reputation combined with on-site purchase policy, SANY gained many potential users and orders.

As the newcomers in Brazilian market, SANY crane has established good brand image relying on its excellent operation performance and timely after-sale service since 2010. Due to the great performance, the market share of SANY products ranked No.1 in Brazilian market for the two consecutive years, becoming the star of the SANY Product in the local market.

Successful holding of 1st Excavator Distributor Training by Russia BU

Adhering to “helping distributors succeed” spirit, Russia BU organized the 1st excavator training to existing and potential distributors. The training focused on the product knowledge of Sany excavators, operation and management system of service parts and financing products. Mr. Zhang Zhongke, General Manager of Russia BU stated the business development and future planning of Sany Group and Russia BU and pro-moted the distributor assisting policy. He also shared his ten years marketing experiences over-seas and influential events of Sany in the interna-tional arena. Mr. Xiong Yiqun, General Manager of heavy machinery Large Excavator Corporate was invited to the training and he explained the current business situation and selling points of

Sany excavator products. The distributors were looking forward to

this training; two potential distributors even drove from the place over 1000 kwm from Mos-cow for 16 hours to attend the training.

In the training, distributors and Sany staff members actively interacted with each other; Vice President of RTC, Sany’s distributor, shared his sales experience of Sany excavator products. With the improvement of distributor manage-ment system, Sany would hold this kind of train-ing regularly as a part of distributor assisting policy.

Agents visited SANY CSA warehouse

19th,September is Mid-Autumn day, one of China’s traditional festivals. All the agents in CSA get together to participate in the agent summit, and then they were invited to visit the warehouse.

CSA warehouse occupied 1200 and stored equipment of 2.5 million US dollars, containing all

the types of cranes, road roller and digging machines. With the increase of equipment, the spare parts will reach to 5 million dollars.

Delta, an agent of Zambia, highly praised SANY warehouse construction. The large amount of accessories secure the product sales, solved the customers’ any menace from the rear. Other agents also said that the warehouse gave them a strong assistance, the abundant accessories enhance their confidence and they would show the customers here next time.

Under the company leaders’ care and all the customers’ expectation, CSA warehouse will grow to a international modern logistics center, and will contribute to SANY overseas development.

SANY Concrete Mixer Powered the Construction of new Silk Road

`Silk Road Renaissance project, initiated by UNDP, China and Middle Asian four countries (2008-2014), SANY Concrete Mixer played a very important role in the project.

KKRASI EETON LLC of Uzbekistan which is on the way of Silk Road must passed, the largest construction company in the city of NUKUS, purchased 120 and 60 mixers. The mixers worked at least 20 hours a day since September in 2012, but are never out of order. The mixers is easy to operate, easy to maintain, with high weighing accuracy, speedy working, high stability and high quality, which bring high economic benefits, at the same time, provide high quality concrete for laying road, speed up the construction of the new Silk road.

From the beginning, Sany Uzbekistan service team sticks to principle of “ take the customer as the center”, takes the fine working of equipment into the first consideration, exams the equipment initiatives, serves for the construction actively, and injected great power to the construction of new Silk Road.

The project can improve transportation environment, speed up the vehicle, which will promote the economic development of Middle Asia and cultural exchange.

Russian Region Worked Together with Agents to Achieve Greatness

On 19th, September, with warmly expectation of Russian customers, SANY products recommendation conference was hold by Russian Region, PSK and RTC.

Moscow in September is chilling and rainy, however, the weather did not reduce the enthusiasm of the agents and customers. There are more than 100 customers attended that conference, in which the manager Mr. Zhang Zhongke shared the experiences of the growth together with PSK and RTC, and the elements to get success. The two agents illustrated the quality and selling points again, and then agents and

customers actively the try to drive the digging machine and they enjoyed themselves very much. On the Chinese traditional festival- Mid Autumn Day, we danced together to celebrate and created a very warm atmosphere.

From January to August of this year, sales increased by 303%, compared with the same period of last year. TRC, as a qualified agent, bought the products for Moscow Federal Mansion, winter Olympic stadium, China-Russia bridge and OPEC buildings. Its manager JIMA led customers to visit SYNY industrial park in China five times. This recommendation meeting enhanced the SANY brand recognition for the agents and customers, confirmed the confidence of purchasing.
