processing capacity & data to Primary DC on Power 8 Servers from Power 6 Server of DR DC. Migrated

#300 TB of data with 1200 CPU cores running 136 LPAR’s & 248 WPAR’s. Also Built DR infrastructure (40

LPAR & 120 WPAR’s) for entire suite of SAP Application on DR Site.

- Worked with Delivery PE on Project categorization, Assignment, and Service Readiness of SCoAD, &

TAD4D and Delivery Acceptance & Exit Criteria

- Managed a project to commission a new office environment for 120 staff at Houston, Did procurement &

deployment of Switches, Cisco IP Phones, 25 Desktops & 12 Printers.

Project Manager, IBM India Pvt. Ltd. May, 2011 — May, 2014

- Completed Enterprise Rollout of Verint’s Impact 360 Application Suites of Products on 60 high ends VM’s

- Extended a DC with additional 40 Racks, installed #156Blades on 22 frames, 3 XIV SAN Storage devices,

40 Juniper Switches, and 12 Symantec Dedupe backup appliances. Entire setup was to host 300 + VM’s on

ESXi 5.1 to run Microsoft Office products i.e. Exchange, Sharepoint, Lync, SCOM

- SCOM 2010 Rollout - Scope was to build SCOM Servers in Data Center and then deploy these server in 18

Field Offices (other States and other countries). Managed OS & MW installation, transportation, Data

privacy. Managed resources, Server delivery, racking, cabling & patching at site.

- Managed a project to Create server farms of Oracle WebLogic, MS SQL, and Oracle RAC farm

- Private Cloud (IAAS) Implementation with IBM Pure Hardware - Scope was to build a Private cloud for

Windows Servers on 11 IBM Pure Flex Server to deliver automated provisioning of VM’s integrated with

BMC Cloud Lifecycle Manager & Remedy.

- Data Center Relocation - Closely worked with higher management & 3rd party Consultants during

requirement gathering, Planning & design phase. Worked on migration strategy especially for Windows,

VMWare, MS SQL and J2EE Application. Migrated 1st phase servers comprises of 600 VM’s & 100 Physical

Servers, most of the physical servers were transported to new DC after data migration.

- Server Consolidation & Virtualization - Scope was to reduce the floor space utilization by 25% and improve

the Application Availability matrix. Completed P2V of 300+ Physical Servers. Worked closely with

Application owners and designed Physical to Virtual migration strategy and game plan.

- VMware VSphere Upgrade - Scope was to upgrade entire 116 ESX Host and 1000+ VM's to VSphere 4.

- Setup PMO in the organization to implement to Project services processes, standard, templates & best

practices. Did Auditing of many running projects to implement documentation & central repository.

Role: Service Delivery Operation Lead, Retail Internet & Mobile Banking Infrastructure

- I was part of production infrastructure support group. I lead Internet banking team which included sub-

teams managing the website, bill payments and fund transfers, real time and scheduled analytics for

marketing and fraud prevention. My profile needed me to perform the overall day-to-day management of

the project and to ensure that the project objectives are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints with

- My job role involved taking ownership of Retail, Corporate and International Internet Banking web sites

- Managed TPS of #10,000/sec and 4 lacs Transaction per day

- Ensured regulatory compliance of Retail & Corporate Internet Banking application. Worked with Internal

and external audit standards like SOX; acted as SPOC to interact with IT auditors, and ensured closure of

identified gaps.

- Also Ensured timely execution of Disaster Recovery drills to comply with Organization’s Business

Continuity Planning guidelines.

- Retail Internet Banking Application Refresh – Scope was to refresh Physical HW, Windows 2k Upgrade &

IBM WebSphere Upgrade, including consolidation of many small tools. This project included the

recommendation of IBM & Infosys for kind of HW Purchase according to requirement of 10,000 HPS.

Worked with Vendor & 3rd Party for Procuring HW & its racking. Performed OS Build, Hardening,

Middleware installation & Configuration. Worked closely with Application on Code fine tuning.

- .Net to J2EE Migration – Scope was to build IT Infra for Application migration from .Net to j2EE (Finacle).

Worked closely with Applications owners of US Geo subsidiary and developers to do capacity planning,

regress testing, UAT testing. Produce/Build Inventories and perform Fit/Gap analysis with stakeholders

and necessary teams.
