    How to prepare itCUTTING

    1. Cut two sizes of leaf templatesfrom pattern.

    2. Cut 14- x 36-inch pieces of silk

    organza and wash-away or heat-away stabilizer. Test stitch with awing needle before you start finalstitching (do not skip this step).

    3. Cut six 3- x 4-inch pieces fromeach color or 24 inches of onecolor.

    4. Border: Cut two 6- x 44-inchstrips and two 6- x 22-inch stripsfrom silk dupioni.
