1.1 Purpose and ObjectiveThis calculation memory aims to present the basic assumptions and calculations for the dimensioning

of the foundation for hydramer VN25 reservoirs, which is part of the implementation of Sonaref

REFINERY PROJECT - RIVER WATER PIPELINE.

6 BASIC DATA FOR DESIGN

- Apparent specific weight of the soil t = 18 kN/m³

- Allowable stress soil adm = 200 kN/m²

7 GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS

7.1 STRUCTURAL MODEL

The structure of the foundation for hydramer VN25 reservoirs was analyzed with the assistance of

software STAAD Pro and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet developed by the responsible engineer.

8 LOADS

- Self Weight (PP)

The self weight of the structure was found automatically by Staad Pro software.

- Empty (Va)

Was considered the empty weight (180 kN) indicated in the document Hydramer 25m ³

PN30_Vertical_R01 applied on four supports.

- Fluid (Pf)

Was considered the weight of the water (250kN), as indicated capacity of the reservoir in the

document Hydramer 25m ³ PN30_Vertical_R01 applied on four supports.
