BOX OF JOY! In collaboration with
Cross Catholic Outreach
Your generosity in packing shoebox
gifts and financial donations helped to
bring hope to children in developing
countries providing them memorable
Christmas gifts and a much-needed
reminder of God’s love.
Our parish cluster served as a drop-
center location for the 2nd year.
Despite the limitation due to COVID-
19, we received and shipped 202
shoeboxes! Thank you to everyone
who helped to make this a meaningful
endeavor and to our staff for helping
to organize the donations, boxes, and
shipping this year! Tip for 2021 Box of Joy: Watch for clearance items that can go into next year’s boxes, all year round!! Stock up after Christmas sales, school supply sales, etc.

The Salvation Army of Barron County helps to change lives for the better. This year there will be socially distanced bell ringing in both Barron and Chetek! A few hours of ringing, brings in hundreds of dollars for this important charity. To sign up to ring, go to https://www.registertoring.com/.
RED KETTLE COLLECTIONS WILL TAKE PLACE WITHIN OUR CLUSTER AS AN
EXTRA OFFERING IN DECEMBER
GIFT FROM THE HEART St. Joseph’s, along with four churches in Barron, provides
gifts for children in need at Christmas. If you are
interested in participating you may do so by picking up a
Heart this weekend at St, Joseph or St. Peter.
If that doesn’t work, please contact Nancy Cusick, 715-637-5756 or [email protected]
or Beanie Wyse, 715-637-3372 or [email protected]. Information specific to age and wishes of the child will be provided. If
you are hesitant to go shopping and want to help, please consider a monetary donation in support
of the children of the Barron School district. Thank you! Your gifts are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, Gift From the Heart Committee
Would you like to experience some Christmas Joy? How about adopting a family for Christmas? Watch for gift tags to go up this week at St. Peter! It will look a little different. To eliminate extra handling of tags, they will be posted on the bulletin boards or walls for review. You touch it –you take it! What a fun way to pick out gifts and wrap them for a family in need!
MAY WE SUGGEST?
Are you a little hesitant about shopping in-store for Christmas gifts this year? Consider giving Kwik Trip Gift Cards. There is minimal contact in purchasing Kwik Trip Scrip Gift Cards and they are continuously available for purchase through our cluster administra-tion office. Also when you purchase a Scrip Gift Card from your parish, 5% of it’s face value is given to your parish. An additional 10% of your sale is given back to the church for in-store purchases!! So you are not only giving a Kwik Trip Gift card to your loved ones you are also gifting your parish! Please fill out the order form and send it into the parish office with payment or drop into the offertory at Mass. Gift cards will be mailed out immediately or delivered to your home parish for pick up after Mass or at the parish office. Please use the Scrip Gift Card envelopes to place your order at this time. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!
