SCAMPI 개요

SCAMPI (Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement)는CMMI 모델을참조모델로이용하는프로세스심사모델로서 2002년 4월발표조직프로세스의강점및약점파악품질수준등급벤치마킹자료제공

특징

-내부프로세스개선, 공급업체선정및프로세스감시활동에모두사용할수있는일반적이고통합된심사방법제공

-제약사항이많지않은효율적인심사방법제공-공식심사자료의표준화된양식존재

심사방법비교

심사유형 단계별특징 심사수행목적

1단계는프로세스개선을위해제안된프로세스가조직에실제적용되어사용될수있는지파악하기위해사용되어짐.즉프로세스개선목적달성을위해계획되어진접근방법(Approach)의적절성파악이주목적임.

2단계에서조직은파일럿프로젝트에대해프로세스를이행함.따라서 Class B의목적은이러한프로세스의이행결과(Deployment)를점검하기위해사용되어짐.

3단계에서의조직은더높은신뢰수준에서조직전반에걸쳐프로세스를수행함. 따라서 Class A는내재화검증및조직의벤치마킹수립을위해사용되어짐.

전세계 CMMI 공식심사현황

2002년 CMMI 모델버전 1.1이발표된이후지금까지 CMMI 공식심사는 2004년12월말기준으로볼때, 전세계 36개국, 298개기업, 567개조직에대해총 630회가실시됨


CMMI 공식심사결과에따른능력성숙도수준

2004년 12월말기준, 전세계적으로 CMMI 최고등급인레벨 5에도달한조직은116개, 그리고레벨 4와레벨 3에도달한조직은각각 25개와 152개에달함

선임심사원후보요건 : Teaching Experience and Skills

The SEI uses this criterion to determine whether proposed candidates have sufficient teaching experience.

- training and/or experience in classroom presentation and management skills including:

• presenting procedural and conceptual information in a clear and concise manner

• facilitating group discussion and interaction


선임심사원후보요건 : Discipline Area Experience and Skills

The SEI uses this criterion to determine whether recommended candidates have sufficient subject matter expertise to be credible as a Lead Appraiser.

- at least ten (10) years of project management and engineering experience in systems or software.

- at least two (2) of these years must include management of technical personnel.


선임심사원후보요건 : Academic Credentials

Candidates must have an advanced degree in a related technical area (such as systems engineering or software engineering) or equivalent experience.

The SEI uses this criterion to determine whether recommended candidates possess sufficient experience and skills related to model-based process appraisal.

- The SEI has record of candidate's participation as an appraisal team member on at least two SCAMPI appraisals within 24 months, prior to desired training.

Introduction to the CMMI

• CMMI 모델에대한교육과정으로교육중, 실습이있기는하나출석만잘하면과정이수에어려움은없음



Intermediate Concepts of the CMMI

• Pre-Assignment-교육과정을신청하면 1인당 1개의 CMMI 프로세스영역이배정되며교육수일전까지

15~20분분량의발표자료를작성하여제출하여야함•교육진행

- 1일차에 CMMI 모델과관련한전반적인사항들, 예를들면 Staged와 Continuous의차이점, SG/SP/GG/GP 등에대한강의가실시되고 1일차오후부터는각프로세스영역별로사전에할당된사람이발표하고토론하는방식으로진행

-할당되지않은프로세스영역에대해서는강사가강의로대체-약 4회정도의분임조토론후결과를발표하는실습과제수행

•시험- 5일차오전에시험실시- Closed Book Test로단답형을포함한주관식문제- 100점만점에 80점이상을받아야통과

•과정평가-토론과실습과제참여도- Pre-Assignment 준비및발표능력- Final Test



SCAMPI Lead Appraiser Training

• Pre-Test- SMDD(SCAMPI Method Description Document)와 ARC(Appraisal Requirements for

CMMI)에대한지식을알아보는테스트로교육첫날오전에제출하고당일오후에결과를알려줌

- 80점이상받지못하는경우, 과정을수강할수없음•교육진행

-교육은크게강의, 실습, 숙제, 중간퀴즈, Final Test로구성-숙제는첫날제시하고마지막날오전까지제출 : 시간이많이걸림

•시험- 5일차오전에시험실시- Closed Book Test로다지선다형및 True/False 문제로구성-심사모델에대한응용문제로모델을충분히이해하지못하면함정에빠질수있음- 20문제중, 75%이상을받아야통과

•과정평가- Pre-Test 및중간퀴즈성적-토론과실습과제참여도및숙제결과- Final Test


Observation & Authorization

Within 12 months of successfully completing SCAMPI Lead Appraiser Training, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to successfully lead a SCAMPI appraisal according to the following guidelines.

- The SEI Partner arranges for the appraisal and an SEI-approved observing SCAMPI Lead Appraiser to conduct the observation.

- Only one candidate SCAMPI Lead Appraiser can be observed per appraisal.

- Observation Fee : U$1,800/Day + Travel Expenses

The observer will provide the candidate with feedback at the conclusion of the observation and provide the required information to the SEI for the candidate observation package. The SEI will notify the candidate of authorization status as a SCAMPI Lead Appraiser and furnish a certificate when authorized. For observation that are unsatisfactory, the SEI will provide the candidate with feedback and, if necessary, the steps for remediation.

선임심사원라이센스비용 : U$4,500/년

To maintain SEI authorization to train appraisal teams and conduct SCAMPI appraisals, SCAMPI Lead Appraisers must do the following:

- Within a three year authorization period, lead at least one SCAMPI Class A appraisal and participate in activities that contribute to maintenance of proficiency as described in the notification entitled "Changes in Renewal Requirements for SCAMPI LeadAppraisers" posted on 3/3/04 (Notification SCAMPI_N_0009_R1) found at http://www.sei.cmu.edu/managing/appraiser-communications/.

- File a complete appraisal report for each SCAMPI appraisal with the SEI Appraiser Program within 30 days of completing the appraisal.
