Preparation of Export Shipment

Packing your Equipment

Equipment withoutpackaging is NOTencouraged.

Items should be packed inre-usable bolt and nutplywood/timber cases.

Packaging Marking

Cases must be marked ontwo (2) sides for easyidentification.

Front side is compulsory.

Marking on Vehicle

Shipping Mark Format:SEM ASIA 2014[Name of the Team][Name of the Institute / University][Country of Origin]Case No. (i.e. case 1 of 6) and itshould tally with your packinglist/invoice

Dimension: L x W x H (cm)Weight:_XX kgs

All vehicles MUST have aunique tamper proofidentification number. ( i.e.chassis number or vehicleidentification number)

Identification Number used to grant exemption ofpayment of DT, also thebasis of exit clearance andreturn to origin countries.

1. Students to liase with DB Schenker origin office on

requirements, charges, payments..etc.

2. Students to provide all necessary documentation

before the discussed timelines. (as mentioned onslide 6) and send the filed up AP Form.

3.

Students to settle payment to DB Schenker originoffice and send proof of payment [email protected] prior toshipment departure out origin port .

4. Arrival of vehicles at Manila South Port

5. DB Schenker to handle import clearance and

transport from port to warehouse.

6. DB Schenker to deliver vehicles to the event site

(Luneta)

1. DB Schenker to transport vehicles from

event site to origin port.

DB Schenker to handle export customsclearance.

3.

DB Schenker or appointed local forwarderto make arrangements with studentsregarding export freight arrangements.
