1. Shall I Compare Thee To A Summer's Day? Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? --A--(10)-
Thou art more lovely and more temperate: --B--(10)-
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, --A--(10)-
And summer's lease hath all too short a date: --B--(10)-
Sometimes too hot the eye of heaven shines, --C--(10)-
And often is his gold complexion dimmed; --D--(10)-
And every fair from fair sometimes declines, --C--(10)-
By chance or nature's changing course untrimmed; --D--(10)-
But thy eternal summer shall not fade, --E--(10)-
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st; --F--(10)-
Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade, --E--(10)-
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st: --F--(10)-
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see, --G--(10)-
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee. --G--(10)-
William Shakespeare

Thanks to this vocabulary, typical of William Shakespeare, we can identify his poems.
Ow’st: second person singular of own
Wander’st: second person singular of wander
Grow’st: second person singular of grow
4. About the poem The poem is a comparison between one person and the summer.
The poem reflect some physical characteristics of the person this is written for, for
example when he wrote “darling buds of May” I think it refers to the person he is
talking about; and when he wrote “Thou art more lovely and more temperate” I think
that he refers psychologically”.
The poem is a Shakespeare sonnet with the form A-B-A-B-C-D-C-D-E-F-E-F-G-G and
it’s an iambic pentameter.
5. Maybe this Christmas
It's Christmas time and Santa's here,
Making the children smile
But he's just a pedophile
So you better watch your child.
Christmas trees in every house
Covered in shiny lights
But they just turn brown and die,
Or set your whole house on fire
These are the reasons I hate the seasons, but imma give it a try.

Maybe this year I won’t be sad on Christmas
Maybe I'll have a happy holiday.
Replace my heart ache and my pain,
With mistletoe and candy cane
This Christmas, could go my way.
Having fun with all your friends,
Sippin on that eggnog,
But it just looks like jizz
All over your upper lips.
House made out of ginger bread
Cookies like Christmas trees
Giving ya heart disease
And type 2 diabetes.
These are the reasons I hate the seasons, but imma give it a try.
Maybe this year I won’t be sad on Christmas
Maybe I'll have a happy holiday.
Replace my heart ache and my pain,
With mistletoe and candy cane
This Christmas, could go my way.
I've never seen reindeer fly
I've never heard the sleigh bells ring
I've never seen a snowman come to life
I've never heard the angels sing
But I hope, and I prey
That maybe this Christmas day
That'll change.
Maybe this year I won’t be sad on Christmas
Maybe I'll have a happy holiday.
Replace my heart ache and my pain,
With mistletoe and candy cane
This Christmas, could go my way.
Maybe this year I won’t be sad on Christmas
Maybe I'll have a happy holiday.
Replace my heart ache and my pain,
Let's just dance the night away.
This Christmas, is going my way.
Just Dance with me.
6. About the song.
The song is about a woman who hates Christmas because her couple died in this season.
She is very sad but she wants to try to be happy in this Christmas. She sais bad things
about Christmas, for example saying that Christmas trees will set your house on fire,
![Page 6: Serafin Santamariña](https://reader036.vdocuments.pub/reader036/viewer/2022081701/568bde661a28ab2034b959b4/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
because she doesn’t like people being happy in Christmas when she is not. The part
“Having fun with all your friends” is a description of what happens. The video is very
important to understand what happens in the story because it helps to know that the boy
died in a car accident, for example.
