計劃資料服務地點：尼泊爾拉姆瓊縣一偏遠村落*Light On服務項目點

日期：2020年5月13日至6月4日(約三星期)

服務對象：- 村民- 約60名七年級及九年級之學生

服務目標：• 為在學學生在科學、英文及數學範疇提供學習支援，

並透過遊戲學習提升他們的學習興趣；• 就扶貧範疇協助村民建立可持續發展的可能；• 增強村民的社會融入能力，促進他們對自己價值的

肯定及提升對本土獨有文化的自信；• 參與社會服務，實踐所學及關心可持續發展

費用：港幣 $15,000^[須繳交按金港幣$3,000，計劃完成後會全數退還；中途退團者，按金將不獲退還]^獲選同學將得到最多港幣 $7,500 至 $10,000元資助

名額：12名 [3組]

申請資格：於2020/2021年升讀三年級或以上的同學 或 高年級入

學(Senior year entrants)並於2020/2021年升讀二年級或以上的同學。

目標：• 培養崇基學生服務社會的精神；• 提供平台讓同學接觸不同服務需要的人士，擴闊他們對國際事務的認識及視野；• 從反思服務的經歷中學習，透過反思扎記、小組分享及專題討論，提升個人成長及社交技巧；

此計劃為書院通識課程，參與同學除於暑假期間進行服務外，還需在接著學期進行口頭匯報及提交書面報告，表現合乎要求者可獲取三個學分。

服務內容I. 七年級及九年級學生學習支援

同學會為村內七年級及九年級學生在科學、英文及數學範疇提供學習支援，透過遊戲學習應用課程知識，並於周日至周五早上在學校進行活動及教學。

II. 小組專題

各小組需選擇一個與村落有關連的題目作專題，並進行實地考察及探討。

具挑戰性• 村內並沒有Wifi，而且網絡差，不能上網• 有限水資源，務必珍惜食水• 時刻實踐環保概念、簡約生活，並應用於每天生活中• 村內飲食為全素食，每餐均進食“Dal Bhat” • 務必尊重村內宗教，不可進用肉類食品• 於當地村民家住宿 (Homestay)

Fee：HKD $15,000^[Deposit of HKD$3,000 is refundable upon completion of programme; in case of withdrawal from the programme, deposit will not be refunded]^Successful candidates will receive subsidy up to HKD$7,500 - $10,000

Students will conduct activity-based learning programme and teaching to about 60 students in Science, English and Mathematics during Sunday to Friday morning.

Remarks: Student with Fail record in GECC1000 in the two proceeding semesters will be given less priority in the selection process.

This programme is a 3-credit course combined with College GE curriculum. Direct service will be conducted during the summer time. Oral presentation and written report will be submitted in the following term.

Selection interview will only be arranged if the programme is placed as the first 2 preferences in JASP.
