The Seville Cathedral

The Seville Cathedral , is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Seville. It is the largest Gothic cathedral and the third-largest church in the world. It was registered in 1987 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, along with the Alczar palace complex and the General Archive of the Indies. 1987 The cathedral is also the burial site of Christopher Columbus.

Giralda is the Cathedral belfry. It was built in the Moorish reign, after the Spanish domination, increasing the steeple with a Renaissance style.

The climb to the top of Giralda is considered well worth the effort for the views alone. The Seville Cathedral
