Sherlock Holmesn the year 1878 I took my degree of doctor medicine of the

university o London, and proceeded to Netley to go through the

course prescribed for surgeons in the army. Having completed

my studies there, I was duly attached to the fifth North number

land fusiliers as assistant surgeon. The regiment was stationed in

india at the tme, and before I could join it, the second afghan wr has

broken out. On landing at Bombay I learnt that my corps had

advanced through the passes, and already deep in the enemy

country. I followed, however, with other many officers who are in the

same situation as myself, and succeed in reaching candahar in

safety, where I found my regiment, and once entered upon my new

duties.

The campagain brought honours and promotion to many, but

for me its nothing but misfortune and disaster. I was removed from

my brigade and attached to the berkshikeres, with whom I served at

the fatal battle of Maiwand. There I was struck on the shoulder by

the Jezail bullet, which shattered the bone and grazed the suclavian

artery. I should have fallen into the hands of the murderous Ghazis

had it not been for the devotion and courage shown by murray, my

orderly, who threw me across a pack-horse, and sucseen bringing

me safely to the brittish lines.

Worn with pain, and weak from the prolonged hardship which I

had undergone, I was removed with a great train of wounder suffers,

to the base hostital at Peshawar. Here, I railed, and had already

improve so far as to be abe to walk about the wards, and even to

bask upon the verandah when I was struck down by enteric fever,

that curse our indian possessions. For months my life was despaired

of, and when at last I came to myself better, I return to London.

I have a friend there, who told me to live where. But I dont

have much money to pay the price of the place. So, he remembered

that theres someone who was looking forward to do the same thing.

Then, he introduced that guy to me. His name is Sherlock Holmes,

hes good at science, but not at laws, or something like that. The

first time I mes him, he was in the laboratorium, hes on his

experimentation.

My friend Sherlock to me, then, I introduced my self to him.

After we discuss a bit of our self, then we talk about the price to rent

the apartment. So, we dealed that each of us will pay half of the

price.

The first day we live together, bot of us are very busy, moving,

cleaning, and others. After a few days later, we started to be

relaxed. Sometimes, Sherlock play his violin and I sit and hear it. He

plays his violn with full of felings he plays it so well, but sometimes if

hes not good mood, hell play it hardly.

And then I bagan to become confused, whats his job? Then,

one day, I asked him, he said Im a detective the first time I heard

that, I was shoked. But then, I followed him out of the apartment,

hes goin on to a problems, with other police. Then, I started to

believe in him. Since the first

time we met, we beame closer

and closer, he solved many

problems that the police couldnt
