Sight glasses are used as components for visually checking the flow of the fluid inside piping from outside.

Plain type

For checking whether a fluid ispresent or how two fluids aremixed.

Be able to check the color of thefluid or an intermittent flow. The use of a mica plate makes thistype of sight glass available forsteam condensate.

Flap type

For visually checking the variationin the flow rate of the fluid.

The rough flow rate can beidentified from the position of theflap. For large flow rates.

Ball type

The variation in the flow rate canbe identified from the movement ofthe ball. For small to medium flowrates.

Spinner type

The variation in the flow rate canbe identified from the rotation ofthe spinner. For very small flowrates.
