In 2003, Unilevers new headquarters changed the Rotterdamskyline. But before it did, it had to be placed on top of theexisting factory, without impacting operations below. Togetherwith Mammoet, Unilever decided to build the new ofce nextto the factory. Once the building nicknamed The Bridge was nished, it was positioned in its nal position above theexisting facilities in one go. The job was completed in a singleweekend, in time for the Monday morning shift to get to work.
