Electronic single-channel amplifier (hereinafter referred to as - the amplifier) is designed to regulate pumps and hydraulic motors with proportional electric control control, valves and pilots and safety valves with proportional control and proportional electromagnets�

Amplifier operation principle

The amplifier is based on the microprocessor� It does not require any programming oа the amplifier – the amplifier setting (programming) is performed by three buttons located on its front side� The amplifier converts a low input control signal to the output power PWM signal of solenoid (electromagnet) control� The range of the input signal is selected when setting the amplifier (see section “Tuning amplifier”) of the four:• 0..5V• 0..10V• 0..20mA• 4..20mAThe range of output PWM signal and its frequency are selected when setting the amplifier� Example: select the input range of 0..5V, set the output range of 0..2,3 A – the amplifier will change the output current (to the solenoid) in proportion, with 5V input signal will correspond to 2.3 A of the output signal. The PWM frequency can be set in the range 50 �� 500Hz� The value of PWM frequency setting is adjusted to the recommendations of the manufacturer subject to - valves, pumps, hydraulic motors and hydraulic valves�The voltage going to the solenoid (electromagnet) corresponds to supply voltage to the amplifier, the range of the amplifier is 10..32V. The amplifier also has the ability to control through a potentiometer or on / off button (see a circuit diagram below)�

IndicationThe amplifier has a three-digital seven-segment LCD.The indicator is used:- in settings: to display auxiliary information;- in operation: to display the level of input or output signal, depending on user’s preferences�After connecting power the indicator displays the level of the input signal (in volts or mA, according to a selected range)�When pressing the button “Up” the indicator displays current output�When pressing the button “Down” the indicator displays current input signal.Information is displaying in real-time conditions�

To enter the setting mode, press the button “Menu”�After entering the setting mode by pressing the button “Up” select the option to change:

- maximum current output, consistent with the maximum value of the input signal� Sets from 0�00 to 3�00А; - test signal; - minimum current output, consistent with the minimum value of the input signal� Sets from 0�00 to 3�00А; - linear rise time, time changes in the level of the output signal from minimum to maximum� Sets from 00�0 to

99�9 seconds; - linear decline time, a period of time during which the output signal level will decrease from maximum to

minimum value; - zone of insensitivity� The output signal is blocked when the input signal level is less than this value; - frequency of the PWM impulse signal from 050 to 500 Hz; - select the range of the input (controlling) signal:

- range 0-5V; - range 0-10V; - range 0-20 мА; - range 4-20 мА�

- indicator orientation – normal or inverted; - settings saving�

After selecting the option to change, press the button “Menu”� To set the required settings press the buttons “Up” or “Down”. To change another parameter press again the button “Menu”. To save the settings choose the parameter and press the button “Menu”� The changes take effect immediately�

In the course of installation the amplifier is completely functional, changes of options «zone of insensitivity», «indicator orientation» come into force immediately, changes of options «linear rise time», «linear decline time», «the minimum current», «the maximum current», «PWM frequency» come into force after an exit in the menu of a choice of parametres� Changes of a range of an input signal will come into force only after preservation of options�

For preservation of options and to return to a normal operating mode choose parametre, press “M”, on the display it will be highlighted - press the button “Up”�

If the changed settings do not need to be saved, just turn off the power�

The amplifier provides a simple setup and regulation of a hydraulic motor (pump)� A specialist with minimal training can perform setup and start operation�
