The most well known annual event is the Sintra Festival which is not a single event at all but actually a series of summer events which start in June and continue through August. Sintra Festival attracts to the region a large number of erudict music, owing to the quality of the artists and the programme, which is entirely made up of a piano repertoire from the Romantic period, with the best interpreters of the present international music milieu.TRANSCRIPT
