If a gate is hit with a loader or backed into with a truck/tractor, the gate has to be damaged to the point that it cannot be used as a gate to hold cattle, sheep, hogs or any other livestock. This is not a scratch or dent cosmetic warranty, it’s a pass or fail warranty as to the functionality of the gate.

Two years ago, my father became ill and turned over the running of our cattle farm to me. The farm has
been in the family since 1932 and the cows had never been worked. Not knowing any better, we pur-
chased inexpensive gates and a portable head gate/squeeze chute combination.
We have about 130 cows. We worked these cows three times and had a number of gates trampled and
killed three cows in the process. Two suffered spinal cord injuries and one broke both front legs coming
out of the squeeze chute.
After these incidents, we replaced all the gates with Sioux Steel gates and purchased a Sioux head gate/
squeeze chute combination. We have worked the same cows with Sioux products and have been amazed
at the difference. Numerous times we have had full grown cows try get out over these gates, and they did
not buckle at all. The head gate/squeeze chute combination has been nothing short of amazing. No cows
have been injured and they are much safer for the operators.
I highly recommend Sioux Steel gates and cattle handling equipment.

Squeeze chutes are designed to accommodate virtually all your cattle from young calves to bigger bulls. This equipment is designed to help keep your livestock calm while being worked.

Quickly and easily adjusted automatic, self-catch head gate. When a cow goes through, the head gate resets itself automatically. Head gate is adjustable from
4” to 10.5”. Left or right handed operation. Spring cushion mounted on squeeze chute to reduce impact when the animal runs into the head gate.
Reversed palpation doors allow the producer to move the
animal forward into the head gate without having to step into the
chute and risking possible injury to the individual.
3 drop down doors have blind-ers on them to keep the animal focused in the right direction.
Doors go all the way down giving you complete access to the upper

When cattle are in a head gate they tend to put pressure forward or backward on the gate. Simply move the lever on the manual head gate and open the check valve and it will open.
Hydraulically assisted manual head gate easily accommodates varying sizes of animals being processed at the same time. Controls can be mounted on either
