How far the screws get fastened is a matter of feeling: The play should get minimized while the friction when opening and closing the shutter should stay within limits. Therefore we recommend having the repair done by AdoptSMT. Please also always close the slot holes to avoid components getting stuck in these. With our shutters we include labels to close the slot holes, these also show clearly readable the numbers of the garages; for other shutters you need extra covers.
