What’s next for Samsung?
Rumors indicate work on Galaxy Gear 2. If Samsung learned from 2013, I’m optimistic that their second attempt could be very good. Gear had impressive hardware, so it’s just a matter of getting everything to “click.”
Samsung has confirmed it be releasing a Samsung has confirmed it be releasing a Gear SDK this year, which would be hugely important for getting that foothold in the app market that they need. With a solid SDK and a revamped device, Samsung is “gearing” up for success.

What’s next for Qualcomm?
The unique hardware features of Qualcomm certainly deserve another chance, but Qualcomm absolutely has to support apps at launch if they want to succeed.

Apple’s iWatch remains just a rumor, but there is pretty compelling evidence backing it up. Given Apple’s history, anything they release is likely to shake things up considerably. Expect big news.
