Gifted students are those students who display exceptional ability in an aspect of their schooling as compared to their peers.
Very able students are students who display well above average/high ability in an aspect of their schooling as compared to their peers.
LEP Programmes ■ A learning enrichment unit of work takes a specific
area of the curriculum, and develops, enriches and extends the concepts, knowledge, skills and attitudes contained within the area of study.
■ Staff that have a strength or passion for a particular curriculum area that relates to the needs of these students will run programmes during the year.
■ Sarah Mill is our lead teacher for Gifted and Talented and works with Angela Barker to organise LEPs.
■ Programmes run across the school once a week
