The theme of the graduationceremony was Celebrating Pio-neers, which was appropriate asthe 12 bright andambitious grade12 pupils who were accepted intothe programme in 2008 are thefoundation’s first ever cohort ofscholars to successfully completeand graduate from the pro-gramme since its inception.All 12AllanGray scholarshave

achieved bachelor’s passes, mak-ing themeligible for further stud-ies at university.“The scholarship selection

process is rigorous and the pro-gramme challenging; but thesepupilshaveexcelled in their stud-ies and faced the challenges pre-sented to them with admirablecourageanddetermination,”saidAnthony Farr, CEO of the AllanGray Orbis Foundation.“We are immensely proud of

RUNNING CLINIC WITH ZOLABUDD: Fifty lucky Anna Founda-tion farm children recently hadthe opportunity to attend a run-ning clinic in Stellenbosch withlegendary barefoot Olympian,Zola Budd.
