Prieš jūsų akis naujasis Still Without Name (SW/ON) numeris. Jį išleidome senos spausdinimo

mašinos pagalba, nuo kurios nuvalėme dulkes ir prikėlėme naujam gyvenimui. Nors ji negali to, ką gali

modernios mašinos, jos niekada negalės to, ką gali ši. Tikimės, kad tai pastebėsite šiame zine.

Neatsitiktinai antrojo mūsų leidinio tema eksperimentinės mašinos. Ne bet kokios mašinos, o tos,

kurios egzistuoja mūsų vaizduotėje. Ir ne tik ten.

Ne visuomet yra aišku, ką su tokiomis mašinomis veikti. Galime tik priminti, kad žmonijos gyvenimas jau

daugelį metų glaudžiai susijęs su mašinomis. Įvairiomis. Baisiomis ir linksmomis, nuobodžiomis ir

nesuprantamomis. Mašinos kaip žmonės visos skirtingos. O gal jos ir gyvos? Mes to nežinome. Bet

akivaizdu, kad paskutiniu metu jos vis labiau tampa žmonijos neatsiejama dalimi. Gerai tai, ar blogai,

mes nepasakysime. Tačiau akivaizdu, kad riba tarp gėrį ar blogį nešančios mašinos nėra tokia jau aiški.

Tuo pat metu mes esame laidynai, jungiantys piešėjus ir spausdintojus. Piešėjai tampa spausdintojais,

o spausdinimo mašinos prisideda prie kūrybinio proceso pakeisdamos piešinio liniją ir spalvą,

išskaidydamos dėmę į mažesnes dėmeles. Tai kaip mažytis sprogimas, kaip sėkla kažko, kas neturi

apibrėžto ir galutinio tikslo, bet vyksta, nes visi elementai, veiksmo veikėjai, šiuo metu tikri, kad taip turi

vykti. Eksperimentuojame, bandome junginius tarp popieriaus ir idėjų kaip mokslininkai laboratorijose.

Atsiranda tam tikros mikroschemos, kurių takeliais bėgioja supiešti pieštukai, savileidybos festivalių

džiaugsmas, nepavykę spaudos bandymai ir bemiegės naktys priešais kompiuterio ekranus. Kuriame

tinklus, kurie nėra apibrėžti, kurie atsiranda ir išnyksta; kurių dalelės jungiasi ir skiriasi kaip gyvsidabrio

rutuliukai toliau niekam nesikišant.

In front of your eyes – new issue of Still Without Name (SW/ON). It has been printed using an old

printing machine. We’ve removed the dust from it and turned it on for the new life. Even though this

machine can’t do what modern machines can, modern machines will never be what this machine is.

We hope that you will see that in the pages of this zine. This time the theme of the zine is experimental

machines. Not just any kind of machines, but those which exist in our imagination. And not only there.

It is not always clear what to do with these machines. We can only point out that human life for many

years is closely associated with the machines. Various. Terrible and joyful, boring and

incomprehensible. They are like people – all different kinds. Are they alive? We do not know. But it is

obvious that lately they are increasingly becoming an integral part of human life. Is it good or bad we

cannot say. However, it is clear that the line between good and evilbearing machines is not defined.

At the same time, we – ourselves – are wires connecting the illustrators and publishers, sometimes

illustrators are becoming publishers and the printing machines contribute to the creative process by

changing a line and color, breaking down drawings into smaller spots. It's like a tiny explosion, like a

seed for something that does not have a defined purpose and end, but it is going because of all the

elements, action figures, now are sure that it needs to go. We experiment, try combinations between

the paper and ideas, like scientists in their laboratories. Some microchips appear, running used pencils

are in their tracks, the joy of selfpublishing festivals, unsuccessful printing samples and sleepless

nights in front of computer screens. We create networks that are undefined, which appear and

disappear, which stick together and pull apart as quicksilver drops, then they continue by themselves

without interference from anyone.
