Caf Opera When Caf Opera opened up in 1980 as a brasserie with nightclub and casino, it immediately became the hot spot and most renowned place to be for people of all ages, and has remained so. Ambassadeur This versatile, modern club is located at Kungsgatan 18. Several clubs with different styles are gathered under one roof. The biggest part of the club is Ambassadeur White where they play vocal house. Ambassadeur Black focuses on R&B and soul. Le Bon Palais

A large nightclub palace with a disco feel and warm, welcoming atmosphere. The music is mostly classics from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and the dcor is pleasant and cozy with large seating groups. Together with radio station Vinyl 107, they arrange the Vinylbaren Club every Friday along with a separate special event every month. Le Bon Palais is aimed at a somewhat older crowd.

Spy Bar The legendary Spy Bar liest at the heart of Stureplan and is Stockholms most famous nightclub. Media folk jostle with the alternative crowd. If you want to be sure to get in, go early. The club is always crowded and the line long. The atmosphere is best from three to five. Thats when the die-hard partiers arrive. A tip is to go there early. F12 Terrassen Club F12 Terrassen is located between Stockholm Central Station and Old town. Its open every night during the summer and offers a wide variety of drinks, music and people. F12 Terrassens fame is of course largely attributed to its terrace, where you can drink and dance to a view of the water and Old town, but also for its interest in art, fashion and trends. So if you consider yourself being a trendsetter or if youre interested in meeting people with a similar interests then club F12 Terrassen might be for you. You dont have to be interested in trends or fashion to appreciate the club, though. Laroy Laroy is located at the hub of Stureplan. And its the hub for the citys partying youth. Spirits ride high here. Berns Gorgeous entertainment mecca in well-preserved art noveau style from the 1860s, boasting a vast dining room and numerous bars, cafs and alfresco areas in summer. Also a hotel and stage, with a range of internationale artists year round. www.berns.se

Cloude Nine A relative newcomer on Stockholms gastro-map, Cloud Nine is a stunningly elegant space. White tiled and airy with splashes of azure, the room is glamorous in a very classic fashion. Cocktails are impeccably executed, delicious things and the high quality continues in the output of the kitchen with its colonial-inspired menu. Our favourite part by far is the separate dessert room, with its comfy blue booths and own entrance, where, should you wish you can have a special dessert tasting menu or simply indulge your sweet tooth with a specially paired cocktail on the side. Their cookies are truly heaven-sent and, though were sure your mother wouldnt approve, you could even bypass dinner altogether and just do pudding

Bistro Jarl An elegantly old school French bistro located on Birger Jarlsgatan in the heart of the city. The food is top notch fare and the place attracts a sophisticated and decidedly moneyed crowd lawyers and media folk mainly. Its on the compact side, so booking is advisable, especially for later in the evening when it invariably gets busy, but it has an exclusive and cosy atmosphere as a result. The champagne bar, with its outdoor seating area, is a popular place to lounge with a glass of fizz at your elbow and the sprawl of modern Stockholm in front of you. Magenta Magenta is the newest addition to the group of Stureplan clubs, opening in September 2008. The club is situated right next to White Room, which makes for a perfect arrangement. Since White Room doesnt typically fill up until after 01:00, partygoers can head to Magenta first, around 23:00. Instead of the more classic approach to interior design that most nearby clubs have adopted, this one is filled with bright colors and innovative designs.
