17 Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone

through whom they come. 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their

neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. 3 So watch yourselves. “If your brother or sister[a] sins against

you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. 4 Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven

times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.” 5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our

faith!” 6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted

and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you. 7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the

sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 Won’t

he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat

and drink’? 9 Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done

everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”

1 Յիսուս ասաց նաեւ իր աշակերտներին. «Անկարելի է, որ գայթակղութիւն չգայ, բայց վա՜յ նրան, որի ձեռքով կը գայ: 2 Նրա համար լաւ կը լինէր, եթէ իր պարանոցից երկանաքար վէմ կախուէր, եւ նա ծովը գցուէր, քան թէ այս փոքրիկներից մէկին գայթակղեցնէր: 3 Զգո՛յշ եղէք ձեր անձերի համար»: 4 «Եթէ քո եղբայրը մեղանչի, սաստի՛ր նրան. եւ եթէ զղջայ, ների՛ր նրան: 5 Եւ եթէ եօթն անգամ մեղանչի քո դէմ եւ եօթն անգամ դառնայ քեզ եւ ասի՝ զղջում եմ, ների՛ր նրան»: 6 Եւ առաքեալները Տիրոջն ասացին. «Աւելացրո՛ւ մեր հաւատը»: 7 Եւ Տէրն ասաց. «Եթէ մանանեխի հատիկի չափ հաւատ ունենաք եւ այս թթենուն ասէ՛ք՝ «Արմատախի՛լ եղիր եւ տնկուի՛ր ծովի մէջ», նա՛ իսկ կը հնազանդուի ձեզ»: 8 «Իսկ ձեզնից ո՞վ, որ հողագործ կամ հովիւ ծառայ ունի, երբ սա ագարակից տուն մտնի, նրան կ՚ասի իսկոյն՝ «Անցի՛ր սեղան նստիր». 9 այլ նրան չի՞ ասի՝ «Պատրաստի՛ր, ինչ ընթրելու եմ, եւ գօտի կապած՝ ծառայի՛ր ինձ, մինչեւ որ ուտեմ եւ խմեմ, եւ ապա կ՚ուտես եւ կը խմես դու»: 10 Միթէ տէրը շնորհապա՞րտ կը լինի այդ ծառային, որ իր բոլոր հրամանները կատարեց:

Parish Member Dues Take advantage of the many payment options in the New Year. Pay by check or by credit card in full or in

part – weekly, monthly, or quarterly. You can pay securely online through PayPal on the church website (stsahmes.org) using the dues

& stewardship donation button. Membership dues are $175 ($125 for seniors, $100 ages 18-24). Become a steward of the church by

contributing beyond dues as part of the Stewardship Program. Existing members’ dues must be received by Dec. 31, 2019 and new

members by June 30 to vote at the Parish Assembly on February 23, 2020.

Love Your Neighbors Reminder: Remember your non-perishable food donations for Mary House food pantry. Items that move very

quickly and are needed the most - tuna, peanut butter, jelly, soups and rice. They also need personal care toiletries such as toothpaste,

tooth brushes, shampoo & conditioner, deodorant etc. As always thanks so much for supporting Mary House. For info contact Joyce

Service Project for St. Mary Mother of God Monastery in Armenia: Donations toward this project are greatly

appreciated. Please seek in your heart to support Fr. Shnork Souin and the faithful of St. Mary Mother of God Church.

Update on Service Project- We have reached the $8000 toward the goal and purchased the parsonage in in Armenia.

Thank you to all those who have contributed so far and I encourage you to consider making further donations towards

this God pleasing project for the service project while in Armenia next summer. You can make contributions in any

amount and all donations will be greatly appreciated and recorded permanently on a plaque in Armenia. You can send

ACYOA Holiday Outreach: The Providence ACYOA Juniors are sponsoring our

Annual Holiday Outreach Program. This will benefit needy families in area

Providence shelters this Christian season. Simply bring in your donations and they

can be placed under our Christmas tree in the Egavian Cultural Center after December

1st. Gifts can be wrapped or unwrapped. Please make sure to label each wrapped gift.

ACYOA JRS. HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE & ICE SKATING OUTING: The ACYOA

Jrs. of the Sts. Sahag and Mesrob Armenian Church will gather on December 22nd right

after church in order to prepare the gifts to be donated in time for Christmas. After this,

we will all go to the Bank Newport City Center to enjoy an afternoon of ice skating.

The cost is $7.00 for access to the rink and $6.54 if you need to rent skates. Helmets are

free with a $20 deposit to be returned when the helmet is. ACYOA members can RSVP

you all there for part or all of the afternoon!

CHRISTMAS OFFERING (YOUGHAKIN) – Christmas Offering Donations will be gratefully received and the donors will
