Job Description• Surgery is a medical specialty devoted to correcting deformities,

repairing injuries, preventing disease and improving functions of patients.

• Surgery is broken down into groups of subspecialties such as: • Colon and Rectal surgery • General surgery • Neurological (Brain) surgery • obstetrics and gynecological (women’s reproductive) surgery• Opthamological (eye) surgery• Orthopedic (bone) surgery • Otolaryngological (head & neck) surgery • plastic surgery • thoracic (chest) surgery
