    Course: - Organizational Behavior Course Code: 2810004

    1. Course Objective:

    Help the student understand how the 'people' side of the organizations affects effectiveness

    through significant fundamentals of the human behavior processes concepts

    To apply the concepts for understanding behaviors of individual and groups in the

    organizational context.

    Help the student develop basic skills and abilities to deal with the ongoing behavioural

    dynamics and contribute to organizational effectiveness

    2. Course Duration:

    The course duration is of 36 sessions of 75 minutes each i.e. 45 hours.

    3. Teaching Methods:The course will use the following pedagogical tools:

    (a) Discussions on concepts and issues of Organizational Behaviour.

    (a) Case discussion and Role Plays covering a cross section of decision situations.(c) Projects/ Assignments/ Quizzes/ Class participation etc

    4. Evaluation:

    The evaluation of participants will be on continuous basis comprising of the following elements:

    To perform well a student is advised to attend every class. He/she has to be well informed aboutthe status regarding the subject before attending the class.

    Irregularity and absences on the dates scheduled for Presentations and Quizzes will not

    be entertained.

    Assignments and Team Exercise compromises your contribution and, therefore, may

    negatively impact the Continuous Evaluation Marks you receive from your team exercise.

    b. Quiz: -Two Quizzes will be arranged. The students are expected to be prepared for any type of questions

    during the quiz pertaining to the subject body discussed so far as per course outline. The quiz isaimed to keep the participants in-tune with the subject on a continuous basis.

    c. Projects: -Book Reviews, Live Projects, Film Analysis, and Role Plays will be done in a group consisting of 5

    students. For each of these projects Club will be formed. Each group will be making presentation infront of the class as per the schedule displayed on the notice board for the given project.

    The presentation schedule will be placed on the classroom notice board before 7 days of the

    presentation. There will be NO CHANGE in the presentation schedule.

    d. Late Submission: -

    Late work or submissions will NOT be accepted unless additional time is approved by the instructorprior to the original due date.
