INTRODUCCIÓN

En el mundo globalizado de hoy donde la tecnología juega un papel muy

importante y donde los niveles de competitividad aumentan día tras día

es necesario hacer uso de las herramientas se

encuentran disponibles con el fin de alcanzar los objetivos propuestos enaspectos como el campo laboral, personal, académico y social integrado

en ello el uso de tecnologías de información y comunicación y el uso de

herramientas telemáticas.

A continuación encontraremos un diverso recorrido por las herramientas

del networking, la cual nos llevara a conocer diversos conceptos del

mundo actual, de lo que se maneja en nuestro diario vivir (laboral y

personal), estos temas ayudan a exigir un alto grado de personas

competentes en conocimientos para el buen desempeño profesional.



1- Realización de un test de conexión para medir la velocidad de nuestro

acceso a internet mediante: www.speedtest.net .

Análisis:

PING: indica el tiempo máximo que demora el PC en conectarse con otropunto (servidor, otro equipo, etc.), en este caso me indica que el tiempomáximo de espera en milisegundos es de 112 ms para conectarse.

VELOCIDAD DE BAJADA: indica la velocidad máxima en la que sepuede descargar algún tipo de contenido desde internet (video, foto,página, etc.) en mi equipo portátil 0.18Mbps (Megabits por segundo),bastante lento comparado con otros PC en otras conexiones.

VELOCIDAD DE SUBIDA: velocidad máxima para subir o cargar un archivo alinternet; Por ejemplo un correo electrónico, una foto, un video.

Analice en qué consisten los resultados del Whois, para qué sirven?

El whois es un protocolo TCP (protocolo control transferencia) basado en petición

respuesta, se realiza una solicitud y este lanza una respuesta a esta, que se utiliza

para efectuar consultas en base de datos que determina el propietaria de

un dominio o una dirección IP en internet.



CONCLUSIONES

Para el estudiante de la UNAD el Networking sirve como herramienta importante

para conocer la velocidad de conexiones y determinar si los PC yestas son optimas para el trabajo de formación virtual. Así mismo, los

tiempos que los tiempos que nos brinda la conexión para cargue y descargue

de archivos, como por ejemplo los exámenes nacionales virtuales. Es

importante diferencia que el proveedor de internet nos asigna una IP cada vez

que accedemos a una conexión y de allí, ubicarlos ge referencialmente.
