Notebook with tannery instructions handwritten in Greek, by an unknown author, dated possibly from 1938. The original was donated to the Industrial Museum of Hermoupolis in Syros island Greece. During 19th century Syros, a small Aegean island, knew an astonishing industrial development. In Hermoupolis, the capital of Syros, in a period of approximately 50 years flourished more than 80 industries including 12 tanneries. Σημειωματάριο με οδηγίες βυρσοδεψίας, χειρόγραφο στα Ελληνικά, αγνωστου συγγραφέα, χρονολογούμενο τουλάχιστον από το 1938. Το πρωτότυπο παραδόθηκε στο Βιομηχανικό Μουσείο Ερμούπολης στη Σύρο. Τον 19ο αιώνα η Σύρος, ένα μικρό κυκλαδίτικο νησί, γνώρισε μια εκπληκτική βιομηχανική ανάπτυξη. Μεταξύ των πολλών εργοστασίων συγκαταλέγονται της και 12 βυρσοδεψεία. Το σημειωματάριο βρέθηκε στο πρώην Βυρσοδεψείο Κορνηλάκη.
