Strategy Dear All: We are starting an awareness raising campaign for consumers to reduce waste at source. Please join our campaign and practice the following: 1. Avoid unnecessary packaging by choosing least packed material or purchase economy size / bulk. 2. Donate / Recycle clothes, textiles, appliances, and furniture. 3. Consider reusable products as batteries, cloth napkins etc.

Pakistan prepares its INDC

Director General of Pakistan's Ministry of Climate Change, submitted the country’s draft national climate plan, entitled “Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC)”. Countries committed to U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) are required to submit an INDC ahead of Conference of the Parties (COP21) in Paris in December 2015. In its INDC, DG puts forward a ‘Pakistan Vision 2025’ that lists: 1. Mitigation measures, 2. Adaptation measures, 3. Education, Communication and Awareness 4. Institutional Capacity for Addressing Climate Change 5. Monitoring and Evaluation Source: Pakistan INDC zero-draft
