Recycled water storage tank: cylindrical stainless steel column (AISI 304). The tank is fitted with: overflow spillage, visual level indicator, elbow bottom outlet, electric recirculation pump and piping.
Packed tower: stainless steel shell (AISI 304) fitted with: manholes to access for loading and unloading of the packing, inlet and outlet flanges.
Liquor distributor: structure with spray nozzles.
Packing: structured plastic packing (high specific surface packing).
Mist eliminator: highly efficient, plastic material.
Reagent dosing system: continuous feedback controlled metering pump, feedback data supplied by the pH-meter probe; the quantity of reagent is delivered in accordance with pre-determined values of pH.System for make-up water: pressure sensitive probes automatically control the water level inside the system.

Description
SCR-Ghibli scrubber is an air treatment chemical-physical type technology based on the dissolution of the contaminants in a suitable solvent. This kind of solvent is selected according to the solubility of the compound to be removed.
The SCR-Ghibli operation is based on single or multi stage countercurrent process occurring in a vertical-axis tower, usually having cylindrical section.
SCR-Ghibli is a liquid spray type scrubber where the contact surface between the air and liquid phases is created by spraying. The liquor (solvent + water) is drawn from the recycled water storage tank and recirculated inside the washing section so to reduce the costs and limit the waste of resources. The number of recirculation cycles are function of the concentration of the pollutant to be removed within the gas.

SCR-Ghibli series abatement efficiency is function of the type of absorbent used, of the number of stages in the process and of the type of contaminant to be removed.SCR-Ghibli systems are excellent for deodorization of both public and industrial plants and can be successfully used for treating concentrated air flows.SCR-Ghibli can also be used to remove organic compounds (for example VOCs), inorganic (for example, HCl, HF, ammonia, SOx), and particulate material (even of very fine size, less than 4 µm), provided this is not highly concentrated.
SCR-Ghibli series can be used for decreasing the temperature of hot air flows, remove odours, remove particulates and halogen acid gases; they are appreciated when the temperature of the air flow and a stable moisture content is required as input into other systems.SCR-Ghibli series allow to treat moderate airflows with limited space usage.
Corrosion can occur when acidic compounds are contained in the liquor so increasing the need of maintenance and the inherent costs.
SCR-Ghibli require scheduled maintenance plan (every other 3 or 12 months): cleaning of the packing, refilling the damaged ones. A truly expert crew of technicians should look after this maintenance.

Ghibli-
Vasca di base: di forma cilindrica, realizzata in ACCIAIO AISI 304. La vasca viene fornita completa di: n.1 troppo pieno, n.1 livello visivo, n.1 tronchetto scarico di fondo e un tubo di collegamento all’elettropompa di ricircolo.Torre di abbattimento: realizzata in ACCIAIO AISI 304, completa di passi d'uomo per carico e scarico dei corpi di riempimento. Vengono inoltre fornite le flange di ingresso e uscita.Rampa di lavaggio: torre completa di ugelli di spruzzo per la bagnatura uniforme del letto di corpi di riempimento.Corpi di riempimento: il sistema viene fornito con corpi di riempimento ad elevata superficie specifica realizzati in materiale plastico.Separatore di gocce: ad alta efficienza in materiale plastico.
Sistema di dosaggio automatico dei reagenti: è costituito da n.1 pH-metro e relativa sonda di misura e n.1 pompa dosatrice proporzionale. Il sistema di dosaggio monitora in continuo il pH all’interno dell’impianto e, sulla base di un valore di set-point preimpostato, decide la quantità di reagenti da erogare.
Sistema per il reintegro automatico dell’acqua: è composto da sensori di livello a pressione che ripristinano in modo automatico il livello dell’acqua nel sistema.

I sistemi di abbattimento SCR-Ghibli sono una tecnologia di trattamento dell’aria di tipo chimico-fisico basata sulla dissoluzione dei contaminanti in un opportuno solvente liquido, scelto sulla base della solubilità del composto da rimuovere. Gli SCR-Ghibli operano in controcorrente e possono prevedere uno o più stadi di trattamento.I sistemi SCR-Ghibli sono costituiti da serbatoi ad asse verticale, solitamente di forma cilindrica. Gli SCR-Ghibli sono del tipo camere a spruzzo. In questi impianti la superficie di contatto tra le fasi viene creata nebulizzando, con appositi sistemi posti sui bordi del serbatoio, il liquido assorbente. Al fine di contenere i costi e limitare lo spreco di risorse, il liquido di lavaggio viene prelevato dal serbatoio di raccolta e ricircolato all’interno della sezione di lavaggio. Il numero di cicli di riutilizzo è funzione della concentrazione dell’inquinante da rimuovere all’interno del gas.
