全国教师领导力发展团队总监

我成长于美国的华盛顿市,父母来自台湾。我教育事业始于Teach For America,在新墨西哥州的印第安人基地给需特殊教育的孩子教书两年。随后,我继续在TFA作项目主管和高级主管工作。2011年我加入了美丽中国主导教师培训和支持工作和区域管理及运行工作。今年我着重于领导全国团队的工作。我酷爱跳舞,烹饪,拟写关于教育的博客。我将要开始为马拉松的培训,也希望有⼀一天能够建立⼀一个国际性的特殊教育机构。我大部分的时间居住在临沧和汕头。

洁VICE PRESIDENT OF NATIONAL TEALI grew up in Washington DC, and my parents are from Taiwan. I started in Teach For America in 2005 teaching special education on the Navajo Nation in New Mexico. I worked for TFA as a PM and MDP from 2007-2011 until I joined Teach For China. I started in TFC in 2011 managing our regions and our Training & Support team. My work this year is focused on leading the National TEAL team. I love dancing, cooking, and blogging about education. I’m currently training for a half-marathon in January and plan to start an international special education non-profit this year. I split my time living in Lincang and Shantou.

波SENIOR CONTENT MANAGER FOR THE HUMANITIES - LEAVING BY NOVEMBERI was a building structure engineer for seven years before turning to explore education for another seven years. Born and raised in Beijing, I am proud to be half Sichuanese and my second home is the land of the ever innovative – New York City. My third home was a village called Bodie in Guinea, West Africa where I taught MS Physics for three years. My fourth home is the mountainous and lush Lincang in Yunnan. Where will my next home be? Good question, I have yet to find out, but one thing for sure is that I will keep charging on this career in education. Sometimes I think of going to Mars and start a new country, continue dancing, workout and embarking on all sorts of adventures there.

媛SENIOR EFL MANAGERI taught EFL at two universities in Central and Southwest China for five years; I taught ESL to immigrant adult students in LaGuardia Community College at City University of New York (CUNY). I lived in Guizhou Province, Hubei Province, Zhejiang Province, Shanghai, New York City before and now am living by Er Hai of Dali City in Yunnan Province. Fun Facts: I swim in the river in the winter with a normal bathing suit, and I am addicted to cheese cake, NY style.

CONTENT MANAGER FOR THE SCIENCESI am from Nanjing and just completed my Teach For China fellowship as a physics and biology teacher in Shantou. My background includes math and science instruction, project-based learning design, class culture and incentive plans. I am interested in problem solving of all kinds and in any form. I love to travel, design and as long as I sleep eight hours a day, I can be energetic in the evening. I will live in Lincang until mid-October when I will move to Baoshan.

生于六朝古都江南水乡的南京,刚刚从汕头完成了两年的美丽中国支教,累计教了3个班的物理,8个班的生物。喜欢旅行,喜欢设计,喜欢游戏,喜欢变化,每年都会有不⼀一样的造型,每⼀一个季节都会有不同的样子,每天都会有有趣的事情,只要晚上能睡足8小时,⼀一天能够精力充沛到晚上。最近比较有意思的事情是,因为荒废了几个月的锻炼,这几天和办公室的同事互相激励,要每天做100个俯卧撑,可怜的我做了20组才把它完成 T^T。我擅长的领域包括数学科学的学科教学,PBL设计以及班级文化相关激励计划等等。

沟通与项目主任 + 暑期培训经理生长于纽约,之后在威廉大学深造哲学和汉语。毕业后,在陕西的⼀一所农村小学教授英语,音乐及美术。此后加入了美丽中国的美国招募团队,辗转于美国东部的大学里。再⼀一年后,来到气候怡人的云南临沧继续全国团队的运行、后勤和沟通工作——着重于暑期培训运营的筹备和实施,并指导区域运营、后勤和沟通工作。我酷爱烹饪、唱歌、锻炼和举办 party.

COMMUNICATIONS & PROJECT MANAGERMANAGER FOR SUMMER INSTITUTEAfter 18 years of life, most of it in New York City, I moved to the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts to attend Williams College, double majoring in Philosophy and Chinese. After graduation, I moved to a rural village in Shaanxi where I taught English, music, and art. In 2011, I joined Teach For China as a US Recruitment Manager, but have been living in Lincang since Summer 2012 when I joined the National TEAL team to be both the Manager for Summer Institute as well as the Communications & Project Manager. Reach out if you share a love for cooking, singing, exercising, philosophy, the arts, technology, and organizing parties.

梅A M B E RCONTENT MANAGER FOR THE HUMANITIESI joined three years ago, teaching 7th grade Chinese in Yunnan’s Linxiang District for a year. For my second year, I came back to Shantou to teach. After the Fellowship, I became a full-time Program Manager based in Guangdong. By seeing students and Fellows make progress, I understand our mission more and more. I hope our Fellows can bring better experiences of the humanities to our students with NTEAL’s support. My personal vision is to mature into someone who is accountable, makes a difference, balanced, enthusiastic, and resilient. I am on the road; you are welcome to join me.
