Mobile payment and e-wallet transactions from three mobile networks, AIS, DTAC and True Move was worth THB 90 billion in 2015
Apart from the mobile operators payment services, several other players have entered the Thai market.
The government's Any ID scheme, which will enable anyone with a ID card, mobile number or email addressto transfer money and make financial transactions, is expected to be completed by end of 2016
