Event Overview:With cyber threats evolving and threatening to affect organizations day to day activities, the cost of implementing IT security solutions has significantly increased from “US$75.4 billion in 2015 and expected to reach US$101 billion in 2018 (Gartner) and $170 billion by 2020 globally, while the Middle East Cybersecurity market is expected to reach around US$10 billion by 2019, double the US$5 billion it was worth in 2014”.

Since the cost of security solutions is not showing any signs of decline, organizations can develop tools and policies to avoid, absorb and mitigate them through resilience approach. Leaders of business and government need to think about resilience for two reasons: first to create a long-term view and durability to avoid the catastrophic failures, and second to broaden the conversations to discuss beyond information technology or information security.

Considering cyber resilience as the key, and continuing on the success of the previous editions, ITA Oman is hosting the 6th Regional Cybersecurity Summit in collaboration with White Paper Summits and Nispana Innovative Platforms. The 6th edition will cover a range of topics highlighting the current and future threats which are and will affect organizations & business effectiveness.

This conference will bring over 350+ attendees from across the Middle East to form new partnerships, develop new policies and identify latest technologies to combat cyber threats. The premium 2 day summit will also host and engage the most promising and emerging regional and global firms from critical national Infrastructure sectors including: Energy & Utilities, Defense & Aviation, Financial Institutions, Hospitality, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Government Institutions. In order to ensure the event helps organizations identify a solution for their problem, the event format will feature Keynote’s, Case Studies, Panel Discussions and Technology Showcase.

We look forward to meeting you at the 6th Regional Cybersecurity Summit 2017.
